I've just recently returned from a trip from the south west US (Cali, Arizona, Utah area) and noticed this issue myself. I am now back in the UK and no longer have this issue. It's extremely difficult for us to troubleshoot as it seems to only be happening to people in a very specific area of the world. It would be a great help if you could let us know your general area. A state would be enough, but a state and nearest city would be better.

That's a little complicated. My butt is parked in a chair in central Georgia, USA, but all my internet comes from a satellite, which bounces the packets off a data center god only knows where.

The main Network Operations Center is in Germantown, Maryland, but they load balance with smaller NOCs all over the USA. Google and other sites that attempt to pick a local location for me always seem to think I'm in Texas, Kansas, Arizona or some other place thousands of miles away from where I'm actually sitting.

I've been unable to reach the Nexus Mods website for the past five days or so. I always get an 'ERROR: CONNECTION RESET' in Google Chrome, and in other browsers(Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and IE) I get similar results. It seems that my connection to the website always times out before any sort of content even loads. Although, for some reason I am able to load the site via a mobile device(tablet).

Relative Location: United States, California | City: Rocklin | Zip Code: 95677

Internet Service Provider(ISP): Wave Broadband

Please can people (only people who are actually experiencing issues loading the NexusMods.com site) do the following:

  1. Press the windows key + R on their keyboard (or find "Run" in the start menu)
  2. Type "cmd" and press enter
  3. Enter "tracert nexusmods.com" in to the prompt
  4. Wait for the trace route to finish
  5. Right-click the command prompt, select "Mark", and drag and drop until all the text is highlighted
  6. Right-click again, this will copy the information in to your clipboard
  7. Paste that information in to a post here

This will help us, thank you.
