Clothes roberts female and better cities

It seems that the clothes in Better cities have the skin textures mapped wrong for Roberts female body. I can't find a clothes replacer for it either. I will also probably have the same issue with extended inperial city. Does anyone know what is required to make clothes compatible with a body replacer? Are there settings that can be changed in nifskope?

Robert's Female body replacer comes complete with stock clothing replacers, including SI. It sounds like you have used another body replacer, or have not installed RF correctly. BC does not change clothing.

Are you positive? Looking in the CS, it seems that BC added some characters, and the clothes on some of them have a BAN prefix which I think is better cities. All of the other characters clothes work right. But yes, you are right, I have used HGEC in the past.

My apologies, you are correct. I had no idea that BC had added new clothing, even though I have Robert's Female body and BC. Having said that, this image is BC clothing, and the textures show correctly for me (notice the fingernails):

Have you come across anything with more skin showing? Even so, it might not be a bad idea for you to reinstall RF.

No apologies needed. I can't see your picture since I'm at work and it blocks it. (Shame on me) The way I found it was just browsing through the races in the CS with Better cities FULL set as active. I was in the process of tweaking to fix necklines. Anyway, I think I was looking at the Breton females, and some of them had a nipple just below the neck. Interesting, but not very attractive. I think one of them was called Lady someone. Sorry I can't be more specific at the moment. As soon as I can, I will look in the CS and tell you which character(s) if you want. Do you have any idea how to fix it though? I'm guessing the NIF has a skin texture associated with it.

That sounds like you have HGEC footfemale.dds still installed. My image shows an upper class 'Lady' with full neckline and shoulders showing. Textures look fine.

The problem with BC meshes and textures is that they are all packed up in bsa files. I wouldn't want to go extracting all of those, especially when the issue may lie elsewhere.

I checked, and the only textures I had installed were the Roberts female textures. The characters that were messed up are High elves Duchess Giselle, and Lady Trevelda, and redguard Lady Peregrin. Those were the only ones I could find that looked wrong. Haven't checked all the males though. Anyway, I changed their clothes in the CS and that fixed it, so I figured it must be clothes themselves. I unpacked the clothes in question, went into Nifskope and remapped the textures and adjusted the UV map, put it all in a folder and installed it with Wrye Bash and it looks fine now. Not all of the clothes will exhibit obvious problems even though they are probably all mapped wrong. It seems that only dresses that are low cut will be obvious. It would be great if someone had the time to go through all of BCs clothes and fix this issue. I would, but I'm buried right now. Thanks for the helpful inputs Hickory, you're always handy.

If any mod adds new clothing/armor items, they need to be converted to fit to any body replacer. Since the outfits shown in the screenshot are retextured stock outfits, you will need to grab corresponding stock clothes replacer mesh, then change the textures to mod-provided(and do not forget to save as mod-added clothes).
