I don't understand the mesh problem, because it works fine in-game.

Ok, I just downloaded the Ainmhi race, and you need Ren's Beauty Pack Full and you should install and activate the AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackFull.esp or AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackHairsOnly.esp, which come with the race. Don't forget to run BOSS and rebuild your Bashed Patch afterwards

It is still not working. :wallbash: The rebuild isn't, I should say. Here is my new load order.

Now Wrye Bash is saying that _Ren_BeautyPack_onlyhairs.esp, CM Partners.esp, AinmhiRace-RensBeautyPackHairsOnly.esp, and CM Partners NPC.esp are conflicting, and I got the same message when I tried rebuilding the patch. I don't understand, because the textures and meshes are all there and are in the right place, and if there was an error with the mod I would be able to tell in-game. :sad:

 

Edit: Well, it seems BOSS didn't reorder the mods the first time and so now I fixed the conflicting problem. I'm going to try again.

 

Edit: Edit: Nope, didn't work. Wrye Bash still can't find the eye meshes, even though they are there in the game.

The thing is, you have installed the Ren's Hair Only. It is EYES that WB can't find, so uninstall the Hairs Only of Ren's, and install the full package.

No luck. I don't know if this will help, but I tested for conflicts using OBMM, and there were MANY major conflicts between Rens Beauty Pack and Ainmhi Race, and Ainmhi Race has a few major conflicts with DATalith( :/ ).

OBMM conflict detector is not so trustworthy. If you want to check mod confliction, TES4Edit does the job better.

Ok, I disabled DATalitha.esp and tried rebuilding the bashed patch, and it worked fine. It is just DATalitha not recieving the eye meshes from Ainmhi Race.esp. Does that help? Here is my load order again.

Right, I found out what the problem is by downloading the Ainmhi race and DATalitha CM Partner. You will be happy to know, in one sense, that the fault is not yours. The fault is in the Talitha partner plugin. It is a very dirty plugin, and desperately needs cleaning with TES4Edit.

 

The specific reason that causes Wrye Bash to reject it is that the eye meshes point to textures that simply are not included with the plugin. The ideal solution would be for the original author to clean up the esp, but you can get around the problem if you download NifSkope and edit the eye meshes -- don't worry, you only need to alter the texture for 2 eye meshes. So, assuming you wish to do this, and have NifSkope, double click on each of theses meshes in turn

 

\meshes\Characters\Nequam\ainmhi\ainmhiEyeLeft.nif

\meshes\Characters\Nequam\ainmhi\ainmhiEyeRight.nif

 

In each one you will see a texture path (DON'T touch anything else!)

textures\characters\nequam\ainmhi\eyes\ainnrmblue.dds

 

change this to:

textures\characters\nequam\ainmhi\eyes\ainnrmgold.dds

and 'File/Save As' and overwrite the original meshes.

 

Now you can rebuild your Bashed Patch.

Ok, now I know I have to be doing something wrong. I will go step by step through my latest process.

 

1) I access NifSkope. I load ainhmiEyeRight.nif and ainmhiEyeLeft.nif into it. I work on them seperately.

2) I go into subcategory NiSourceTexture and make them the specified texture. I save changes.

3) I enter Wrye Bash. I enter the rebuilding process. I check Alias Mod Names, Merge Patches, the Import... categories I need, Cobl Catalogs, Contents Checker, Leveled Lists, Race Records, and SEWorld Tests. I click Rebuild Patch.

4) Rebuilds smoothly until I get to the same place everytime. I get the message. The same one.

 

Did I do something wrong?

Do NOT check Alias Mod Names. Build your patch according to this:

 

 

 

When you press 'Rebuild Patch', make sure that you check the following:

 

Merge Patches

Import ... [Go through each 'import' option and if there's a mod, not csv in the right window, check it, and the Import... option.]

Cobl Catalogs [ONLY if you use Cobl]

Contents Checker

Leveled Lists

Race Records

SEWorld Tests [ONLY if you have Shivering Isles installed]

 

The Globals and Tweaks are optional, but should not be checked unless you know what you are doing, and should be left alone while you are troubleshooting. Everything else should be left unchecked UNLESS you know that you need it.
