Kethruch
I have an amulet, restore health 1-9 constant effect,I made a pair of pants with constant effect light in a 40' radius (intensity 40) everything looks like high noon)I have the ebony cuirass from the end of the temple (+50 shield) Then there are the gauntlets you can get that up your Strength and Agility 20 I put fortify strength CE from 1- whatever (the highest I've been able to get is 47) on a bunch of items. That brough my strength uyp to about 300 and I don't have to worry so much about encumbrance.
FrozenGod86
Then there are the gauntlets you can get that up your Strength and Agility 20 Good job you found the Fists Of Randagulf. I will save all everyone alot of time "Switch" showed me sight. Go Here To find all the constant effect stuff you cant make. Because just face it there is nothing you can make that compares to the constant effect items that the game provides. I have like three or four enchanted items that i use that the game cant beat but that is it, so i just make cool enchanted weapons instead with my grand soul gems. The enchantment points are way too low on all the items they should have made them higher or at least made like 1 or 2 artifacts you had to find or earn in a quest from a God that would have like 1000 enchantment points that would be cool. Well just think about it you have Azura's Star (The reusable soul gem) why not have a bad arse enchantable item to use it on. Think about it in the mean while though look at that sight I used it alot!
thanateros
I was actaully thinking about doing that for a house mod that I'm working on. And it wouldn't just be that the gauntlet would have a rather high (but not rediculous) enchant value but also take the place of a shield, something useful for say a thief or assassin who wouldn't tote one around. Pob
This has been covered (or similar ground in previous threads), but for constant effect things I rate the following Stat buffs (always good)Night Eye (cheap and sooo good, better than light and makes the game so much easier)Resist Paralysis (cheap, very cheap and helps resit an annoying effect)Chameleon: ace for sneaking I don't rate the following effetcs: Light (same cost as Night eye, but you show up like a beacon, meaning its hard to sneak)Leviate (can't move as quick, I prefer charged items for when you need to lev)Feather (same cost as fort str but not as good) Anything else is okay, but alot of effects (like the resits are prohibitavly expensive) But nothing you can enchant is as good as the artifacts
Darkh Templar
Constant Reflect is nice when fighting mages, it would be cool to see a plugin that would reflect a summoning spell: some Altmer summons a Frost Atronarch and Frosty whacks his summoner! Faust870
How do you enchant items yourself? Without paying to get it done
Peregrine
Drop the soul gem onto your character in your inventory screen. It will bring up the same menu as you get at the enchanter. But be warned, the odds of success are really bad unless you've got high luck, high enchant skill, and aren't enchanting anything too powerful. Laser
I got my gloves enchanted with Summon Deadric short sword, and longsword. I called my short sword glove: "Glove of the Deagger". This lets me never have to lug around a sword that isn't as good as a deadric wepeon, and I don't have to cast the spell. PLUS when the wepeon gets hurt, just take the glove off, put it back on and presto it has full health.
Reborn87
Only problem with that is that you loose the the oppurtunity to enchant your weapons. IMHO your better grabbing the best weapon you can and enchanting it with as much absorb health as possible.
