DonnieBrasco453
I have this issue where almost every game i play will have blurry edges or textures. http://i.imgur.com/ttL1dQm.jpg I'm not sure if this screenshot will accurately present my issue, but if you look closely enough, some of the textures on the gun and trees, and other objects appear a little blurry. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my graphics card, or my monitor, or maybe something else. I remember having this issue on my old monitor and integrated graphics, but i had always passed it off as just bad graphics due to me playing on low. but now, even when i run the game (battlefield 3) and a few other titles on Ultra settings on my new graphics card and monitor, i still have this issue with blurry textures. I've poked around on a few settings on my monitor, as well as tried tweaking some of the settings in game, but i have had no luck in minimizing the blurriness. So i have no idea what is causing this; if anyone could give me any suggestions on how to fix this issue please let me know. My graphics card is a 750ti and my monitor is 1080p at 60 hz refresh rate. iXenite
Perhaps try using a different screenshot tool and see if the screenshot looks better. It's a bit hard for me to tell what's the problem as the image is rather compressed. Also, are you playing in 1080p? I think the pic you shared is in 1920x1080, but the images itself does not fill the whole thing. Not sure if that is a resolution issue or not. Not sure what you used for the screencap. DonnieBrasco453
sorry about that. used FRAPs this time and took a better screenshot. Different game this time, but the issue is still there. http://i.imgur.com/s00jBnE.jpg Again it is a bit hard to see, but if you look at some of the textures they appear to be quite jagged/blurry. It's alot more noticeable if you were to actually see it IRL.
iXenite
Perhaps it's an anti-aliasing issue that's causing the jagged edges. If this game is anything like Alien Isolation then that's something that's faulty with the game itself. As for the blurred textures, it looks like the ceiling is blurred in that Deus Ex picture, is that right? Have you made sure your drivers are all up to date? That might be causing your issue. Perhaps you could play around with the anti-aliasing settings with the Nvidia control panel.
DonnieBrasco453
The thing is all of my graphics drivers are updated, and ive modified the anti aliasing settings in the control panel numerous times. nothing seems to fix the issue. Ive turned anti aliasing off, on, changed to another setting, etc.
iXenite
That's really bizzare. I'm at a loss to be honest. Maybe try asking people at TomsHardware or Reddit (the PCMasterRace thread maybe?).Maybe your question will get more traffic there, thus, more people could chime in and help. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
