Crash upon entering the testing hall.

I wanted to check out some weapons in the testing hall to see if there were any red exclamation marks or any texture issues etc, before I started a new game, however. Entering the ''coc testqaitems'' code in the console, i get sent to the room and the game crashes instantly, not even a chance to move. I have got quite a few weapons mods activated.

 

I'm using Mod Organizer and Loot to organise my load order, I'm also using a merged patch. If you think it would be better to use a Bashed Patch just let me know.

Your load list is a mess.

 

You should read the mod description pages for the proper order of the mods or use BOSS to sort FO3. FO3 Wanderer's Edition has a sample load order towards to bottom of the mod page.

 

Keep in mind that compatibility patches must load after the last mod that they patch.

I've rearranged the load order based on the FWE's page, I'm using the Paradox Ignition versions of MMM and EVE so they don't have an esp. I haven't tried to go into the room yet, though I don't think it's anything to do with my load order. Is BOSS better than LOOT because that's what I've been using.

BOSS is better for Fallout 3 and older Bethesda games. LOOT is better of New Vegas and Skyrim.

 

Disable all you mods and try to enter the testing room. If successful, add a mod at a time until you crash again. The last mod added is probably the one causing the problem. Continue adding mods, one at a time, until you have tested all your mods.

Try disabling the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.

 

And it's quite unavoidable you get all kinds of mesh & texture-related problems when you have half a dozen different overlapping weapon-related mods. You'll never get them all to work seamlessly together.
