Povuholo
I REALLY hope they released an updated CS. I'm trusting your word here Povuholo, don't let me down. :PI was joking, don't kill me! No, I did read that somewhere. :P As long as they don't ignore the addtopic bug again, Shivering Isles should be compatible with all mods. If not, well... Even KOTN wouldn't be compatible. FrozenFirebrand
I remember reading somewhere that many of the DLC including KOTN were made with an advanced version number of the CS. Don't know for sure, I haven't checked myself as I don't use any of them, nor do I intend to. Perhaps there may be a newer version available for distribution soon (I think it was on ESF that I remember seeing that post.) I do intend to purchase the expansion though. Hope it is quite modable to add to the experience as Tribunal and Bloodmoon (Especially!) did for Morrowind. Some of the best mods required one or both expansions. Would be a nice bonus to have an updated CS online around the same time as release though.
Tiberiu911
Yes, having an updated version of the CS would be really really nice. KOTN and all the new plugins where made with the updated version of the CS. From what I heard, it lets you do alot more things, new functions, easy importing of new models and animations... A dream come true! If Beth releases the same updated version of the CS they use, their sins will be forgiven and they will earn my respect! Will even make me buy Shivering Isles, just for that CS. Maybe the new version fixes the addtopic bug too... Then we don't have to worry. Other things I'd like to see fixed? When you place an npc in a cell and after that change his clothes, actually see the npc wearing those clothes and not the original outfit. The autosave feature... Maybe mine doesn't work because I didn't install Oblivion in its default folder, but that's no excuse. I think this is also why the automatic path grid creating function doesn't work. And of course some more general stability.

I heard that from [censored by order of the Serpent Riders]. Well, just joking of course, Serpent of Shadow told me about that, you will have to ask him. Autosave feature works fine for me, and I didn't install Oblivion in it's default directory  .

Povuholo
Autosave feature works fine for me, and I didn't install Oblivion in it's default directory  .Weird. I once turned it on and every time it had to save it gave an error. But that doesn't really matter, I don't want it to save automaticly when I'm messing around and don't plan on saving anyway. Plus, I constantly press that little button already when I'm not messing around! :) Edit: It has been confirmed that Shivering Isles can be modded pretty much the same way you could mod the expansions for Morrowind. Link. They might've mentioned it in the fan interview as well.

This is good news. I wonder what the community will come up with? And assuming Beth will follow the new CS with expansion tradition, odds are we will get an updated version ^^ (they had updated Construction Sets with Bloomoon and Tribunal if I'm not mistaken). Good finding Povuholo!
