jopa78
Hello, all... I've just recently begun trying to mod my GOTY Fallout 3, and I must say the volume of mods available is...intimidating in the best way. :-) That said, while on the Nexus pages for the FO3 downloads, I can download the utility files (CRAFT, FOMM, etc) with no trouble, but I cannot download the content mods at all. The window pops up just as it does for the utility mods, but all I ever see is a window with the grey background, and no text or save dialog ever displays for me to download the mod. I'm using Firefox, and have popup blocking disabled for Nexus. Can anyone help? JP
bben46
There should be no difference between downloading content files and utility files. Both types are compressed files so your computer does not know the difference between a zipped utility and a zipped weapon. They are both zipped files and indistinguishable to your computer. There may be a difference when you go to install as utilities are usually installed differently. Can you give us an example of a content file you cannot download? Also, where are you downloading to? (what folder on your computer)
Dark0ne
Could be the utilities you're trying to download are under 2mb in size and that's why they're working. The mirrors, or anything, not showing up is a result of a script blocker or adblocker stopping the video ad from showing. The mirrors only show if you have javascript enabled on that page. I'm using an adblocker with my mobile broadband (to lower browsing costs) and this causes the videos to show for a maximum of 5 seconds before they go away and show the download servers. I don't know why. Edited April 5, 2011 by TheReverendTholomewPlague
