Dragon32
Doublecheck what autorun.inf calls but try right-clicking setup.exe and choose Run As Administrator, maybe the custom install location option will appear then (and it's best to install that way anyway). hollaajith
Try cleaning registry using CCleaner or the like. I think the registry still contains the morrowind installl info.
natekill117
tried running the setup as administrator, no change...
Dragon32
tried running the setup as administrator, no change...Try installing it and then moving once installed: <snip> OtherwiseYou'll still have Registry entries pointing to the install location but I don't think either Morrowind or the CS actually look at that key. natekill117
So I randomly solved my original problem while trying to get MGE xe to work with win 10....morrowind and the CS just have to run as admin so they have the right permissions to create files in "morrowind/ data files".otherwise, any files they create end up in "/virtualstore"... P.S MGE xe works, but the first few times I ran morrowind with it, it did not want to play nice with my GTX 960 and/or my gtx driver (vers 353.62) but after that it ran fine.
