daniel844 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Hi, Interiors in my skyrim are are too dark for my liking. Is there any way to increase the light in houses and other structures? I am using Sweetfx, Climates of Tamriel, Realistic lighting Overhaul and Colorful Lights-no shadows (which removes all shadows from the game). Right now I just turn up the game brightness when i am in a building, but it would be nice to not have to do this every time i spend time in a structure. Any ideas?
KunoMochi Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 In the SkyrimPrefs.ini, try increasing the fGamma value and save it. The file is located in My Documents\My Games\Skyrim. You may also have to untick the Read-Only option for SkyrimPrefs.ini in order to save the changes.
bojanni Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Realistic lighting Overhaul can make things pretty dark. Is it too dark too when you switch off SweetFX?
daniel844 Posted September 26, 2015 Author Posted September 26, 2015 Thanks for the suggestions. Both of them helped a little bit. But its still darker than I would like. I guess i either need more light sources or uninstall RLO which i don't really want to do because i like the effect of light streaming through the windows.
