clintonius
I'm having a little trouble uploading my screen shots. I've changed the ending of the image name from .gif to .jpg to . png and the site still wont let me upload. I'm not sure what else I can do and any help would be appreciated. Thank you. clintonius
What error message are you getting?I am getting "Sorry, the file you uploaded is not one of the allowed file types and has not been uploaded. You are only allowed to upload files with 'gif' , 'jpg' or 'png' extensions" every time and I've tried all 3 extensions. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :(

clintonius
What is the exact filename of the image file you're trying to upload? The file name is "waterfront_campsite_01.gif". I have also tried .jpg and .png. Should I rename it to something else and if so, what?
Tiberiu911
Did you try opening your image in a 2d image editing software such as MS Paint (comes with windows XP), and save as a .jpeg file?

clintonius
Oh: I didn't realise you were literally just changing the file ext and not converting the images!I was having an unforeseen problem with IfranView and I had to reinstall it. I was able to successfully convert them to jpg. files and now the image size is under 300kb. I believe my issue is solved now. Thank you for the assistance.
