Rhydderch Hael
One little roleplaying element I'd like to share: Generally, I don't permit my character to use Fast-Travel. The only exceptions would be a starting point from the Imperial City, Bravil, or Leyawiin; and if the destination is one of the aforementioned. The idea behind this? Boats. Realistically, there should be a thriving business for ferrymen and rivercraft transporting folks to and from all shore points on Lake Rumare and the Niben River. Fast, incident-free travel that might cost just a little gold. Same criteria would apply to all locations you discover that sit on the shores of these connected waters. Any inland locations, however, would have to be accessed on foot (though you could warp to the shore location closest to your intended destination). Anvil, or any other Gold Coast location, would be off-limits since any ship would have to sail around southwest Tamriel to get there. Of course, you could permit travel from Anvil to any destination on the Gold Coast itself (few as they may be), as the same principles of connected shorelines would still apply.
