naomi98 Posted March 30, 2007 Share Posted March 30, 2007 We have paid a six month subscription fee and are unable to access the supporter database when trying to download a number of mods on the different sites. ie I have just tried to download Mara's Garden to no avail. Am told that security settings wont allow it. I have tried for a number of hours today resulting in my switching off ALL security measures ie firewalls, virus checks, spyware etc etc. Again no way. Can you give me the exact text that the error/dialogue box gives? What browser are you using? (this sounds like an IE7 issue?) Once I have this info I can get to work sorting this out for you. I'm about to pop off to bed (1:27am here!) but will look at it first thing in, er, later on in the morning! If this is an IE7 issue (I haven't currently got IE7 installed on my PC) you could try looking in the browser's security settings if you haven't already: in IE6 those settings are in Tools -> Internet Options -> Security (and check the Privacy tab too!). Thank you for the support and sorry for the problems. Hello again,We're using IE6 and I took your advice and stepped out of the box and looked at the Internet security settings again. Hooray, we sussed it. We had MWsource, Tessource and Gamingsource in the allowed lists and realised that the address the supporter downloads were coming from was not on any of these. Put in the supporter address and low and behold we can now download, at least we've tried two so far. Thanks for listening. Keep up the good work. I thoroughly enjoy messing about with the mods and love the games both Morrowind and Oblivion. Only been playing since late 2004. Once again many thanks.
