Povuholo
I was wondering how you discovered these forums, and the site. For what game did you come here? Why did you go here? To download a mod, to ask a question, or something else? How did you discover this site? A download link from somewhere, a friend, a google search? Myself... I don't know how I found out about this site, but I'm guessing from the official forums. I came here for a question about Morrowind I think. Abramul
Through this page, which, oddly, does not appear to link here anymore. Quite glad that I didn't try the morass that is the official forum...would have been (and to some extent, still is) quite overwhelming. Only use it now if there's something in particular I'm looking for.
Marxist ßastard
Well, at the time I was running a porn server. Like any webmaster, I knew that there were Morrowind fansites plastered all over the Internet, and they were getting pretty large amounts of traffic. I had also been on the receiving end of some horror stories about some of the more infamous fansites; a lot of it involved pretty risque stuff like the UESP mw_artifacts.html "shock guide," and fetishist material like EuroMorrowind (EG, swinging mace tantos). One day, though, I saw while checking through my referer logs that something like one out of every ten hits to my site came from Google searches for things like "Morrowind Hints," "Morrowind Artifacts Guide," and "Fargoth Asking for Ring VIDEO ---" in particular, "Morrowind Chronicles" seemed to be a popular term people were looking for. I decided at that point to check my shame at the door and see what all the fuss was about.
ninja_lord666
I found this site a while ago. I was doing a google search for Oblivion mods, and this was one of the sites that came up. I checked it out and saw that it was quite good. I kept coming back a few times until I tried dl a mod that was too big, so it wouldn't let me. I decided "why not? I'll join." So I did. It actually took a while for me to start exploring the rest of the site. I found these forums but didn't feel like doing anything on them. Finally, I decided again "Why not?" So I started posting, and here I am 236 posts later.
Jonlissla
I joined this site when I was looking for Oblivion mods, and found the quite popular Sauron armor. But when I saw it was more than 2 Mb, I just had to join to download it. One thing led to another, and what do you know, here I am! Simple as that. Switch
Well I discovered this place when it was just Morrowind Mod Library and Gaming Source didn't exist. When Morrowindfiles.com croaked back in early 2003, they linked to MML saying that the place was essentially continuing their work. So, I went to download... and discovered you have to sign up first. So, I signed up, ended up plonked on the forums after doing so, and decided to take a look just for the hell of it... after some initial spam, a quick perusal of the rules, some more spam, coming to my senses, getting promoted to moderator, and a pile of n00b corpses later, here I be! The system works. :P

Mithrandir8
I was trying to dowload some mods and every site that I looked up on google made me pay to be a member and I had to be a member in order to download. So I found this site and happily became a member :) and started downloading mods. Only later did I find the forums which take up most of my time on this site now. Malchik
Back in pre-history I had just played Morrowind and wondered how much I had missed. I googled Morrowind and arrived here and sort of stayed. I used to post a lot re MW but Oblomov never grabbed me to the same extent. Still perhaps there will be a fantastic new quest mod involving many dungeons, the search for the one ring and in which one can learn the secret of success with women. Who knows?
