zoommooz Posted October 25, 2015 Share Posted October 25, 2015 Finally got all the mods I wanted and started a new game. At first it was very playable, with only the occasional crash. Now, as I get further into the game I am finding a lot of problems. 1. I can very rarely load a save game 'in game', and even when I quit and restart the game, often it takes anywhere from 1 to 5 goes to load. (Although it always does eventually load). 2. My early crashes (when they did come) came when I teleported to a new area, then went outside for the first time. Now, however it crashes 8/10 times when I do this. Also, it now crashes as I am walking about the landscape, and even when inside and opening a chest. Most of these crashed are "morrowind has stopped responding" and need a ctrl-alt-dlt to quit the game. Very occasionally these are proceeded by a script warning (either a GCD script or a yacoby one). The warning text is always the same and is a longer version of: Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4. Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_2. For the conflict section, I do have 'BAR_DarkshroudKeep_v1.2.esp', installed but I have neither visited it, or gone to any tr spots, so I doubt this is the problem. Has anyone got some advice as to what might be the cause of these issues?. From reading around the various forums quite a few people have had trouble with GCDLean204STD.esp but I do really like the way this works. Dragon32 Posted October 25, 2015 Share Posted October 25, 2015 Looks like you're using an old version of mlox, probably the one bundled with MGSO. That's years out of date. Grab mlox 0.61 Are you using MCP's "Attribute uncap" and/or "Skill uncap"? GCD uses its own workaround to increase skills and attributes over 100, using MCP's "Attribute uncap" and "Skill uncap" functions is unnecessary and can cause GCD's workaround to freeze or crash the game. You've also got two Vampiric Hunger MGE add-ons running. Just use the MGE XE one. Have a bash with the updated conflict and load ordering rules from mlox. I am also using MCP from MGSO, which is an older version and does not feature the attributes uncap.(I did try to use an updated version but it conflicted with one of the older vampire mods. I will have to start another game (fourth time in 2 week) because my current game is now unplayable (the walk from Balmoral to my house {the haulaa one) gives 2-3 crashes in the space of 45 seconds real time, every time) . I have to walk 100m save, walk 100m save walk to front door save. Obviously the occasional crash is cool but the above scenario is not.
