bethjunkie
Hi all! I'm finishing up a small mod for Fallout 3 and TTW that adds some interiors to the boardwalk in Point Lookout. I'm almost done and hoping to release this weekend but I've run into a snag. One of my interiors uses two wall pieces I've edited in Nifskope to remove the parts I don't want but I'm left with the original collision which means the player can't get within about six feet of the wall. This is one of the original pieces on the left and the version I've edited on the right (the second piece is very similar to this one): <image removed cuz no longer needed> I've tried to copy over the collision from another piece but that threw up a "Failed to map parent link" error and searching that over at the Niftools forum left me sitting here drooling on myself which is not at all attractive unfortunately :sad:So then I tried deleting the collision completely but that crashes the game when you try to enter the cell. I've run out of ideas with my limited mesh knowledge so here I am, hoping someone can either fix this up or ELI5 how I can do it myself. The meshes can be found here if you would like to take on the challenge of helping bring Point Lookout back to a little more of its former glory. Thanks for looking!
