revengecrossroad14507 Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 Hi guys I was wondering that it would be cool if all those mods, that were really well made could be used to make a new fallout new vegas for ps4 maybe or Steam or Xbox one. That could give the various authors of these mods some recognition, and "officialize" this mods that are the only reason why we are continuing play this game. Maybe the game and the mods could use some tweaks by the Bethesda team, but nonetheless it would be a really good move to give some recognition to this site... I was suggesting a COLLABORATION between the bethesta team and the NEXUS MOD AUTHORS to release a NEW fallout new vegas game that had all these beautiful mods inside. I AM NOT SUGGESTING to mod the original game. IT WAS JUST AN IDEA not meant to infringe any kind of COPYRIGHT. Like building a new fallout game. And second you don't have to threaten me with a possible ban, because if you can correctly read what i wrote (and I know you can) you'll see that i wasn't implying anything against the law. I hope that you two understand my point here and try to be polite and friendly as I was with this post. All that was said was that console modding is illegal and to drop it from the discussion as it is in fact illegal and not supported by this site. IT WAS JUST AN IDEA not meant to infringe any kind of COPYRIGHT.you said you wanted a new FONV be made by the Nexus with some help from Bethesda. my point is that every mod is owned by the mods creator and the game is owned by Bethesda and the assets are owned by Obsidion. we're talking about a lot of issues right there. no one wants to do it, that's like trying to make a mod pack for these games. also the Nexus and the mod makers are not one and the same, many of the big mods can be found on various sites. another thing should be noted is that Bethesda does acknowledge the Nexus and think it's a great site. part of why this site was partially involved with the paid Steam mods thing. Like building a new fallout game.FONV was the most recent FO game made (excluding FO4) it doesnt make sense to remake it now. also if they were to remake it they would use their own studio and not hire a bunch of amateurs who made some cool mods. (I used "" because it is an example. I dont want that.). What i was referring to was a fantasy of mine, then you came and said that i was suggesting to mod consoles. I don't know if english is your first Language or I wasn't clear enough. Then another guy came and said that i could be banned for suggesting to mod a console game. So I started using caps to make it easier for him to read what I was writing. I sincerely hope that you are more understanding in real life, and that is the end of my posts on this forum. I just posted/shared a thought of mine, which is not so senseless, since on steam we see lots of remake of past games like Thief or Resident evil 1 Remastered, Tomb Raider etc., with a better graphic. Again I sincerely hope that you don't show that side of your winning personality to no one, because your always pointing at things that aren't there and your presumption to be right even when sombody explained himself, is simply off-putting and childish.
