Please tell me that the UI can be modded

Yes, the UI can be modded. It uses the same format of flash files as Skyrim.

Unfortunately there is no easily modifieable file to edit controls in the archives. It's all inside the .swf files.

The UI is fine, this is just a L2P issue.

However it would be nice if the controls made any kind of sense. With these keybindings it feels like jumping all over the keyboard just to change some minor stuff. Skyrim's default UI was slightly confusing at first but after a few hours of use it wasn't a problem at all.

I'm pretty sure that when there is a UI mod for it, it's no longer even needed because I'm already familiar with the stock UI. :<

I agree, am not to happy with the big player control, key here, tab there, alt there, esc here. What a jumbled up Mess. And for a short opinion, the players avatars look like Clay molds, made of clay. If this has been 4 or 5 years in the making, I'd hate to see what Bethesda does with 6 years.

Um, how is this even slightly passable? From a graphics design point of view, this is absolute vomit and wasted space. The elements are far to small and use about 1/3rd of the available screen... as well as that stupid curved look the text has.

The PC UI is the same as the console UI.

Bethesda Softworks make no effort to make a PC UI.

It is the curse of modding, we first must make this a PC game designed for PC's. Then we improve it and Bethesda Softworks take what works on consoles for TES 6 and Fallout 5.

Sky UI is the most popular mod for Skyrim and for the same reason, it's Fallout equivalent will be as well.

Bethesda pc interfaces have historically been s***, but this one is a insult to pc gamers.

They design this for ppl who have down syndrome.

f*#@ you with your L2P issue.

10 Hours in and I have to agree with UI needing work.

Occasionally for example when I am building I end up placing an item rather than picking one up, if it wants to use the same key, its really odd that it leaves you in the menu for building when you only want to be moving stuff.

Then yes navigating to the various subsections of the menu especially the misc or junk ones is awkward, anyone telling people to L2P, its always going to be awkward however much I understand the game.
