moveto player - works for moving stuck, or seemly stuck, NPCs to your PC location.

For folks who have not used it before, you need to target the desired NPC with your mouse in the console, type "moveto player" without the quotes and hit enter. Upon closing the console, the NPC will be teleported to your PC's location.

Okay here's how to set your companion relationships:

Open console and click on the companion

"getav CA_affinity" will show the current affinity

every 250 affinity will trigger a conversation and improve relationships with 1000 being the max

"setav CA_affinity xxx" sets the affinity

"modav CA_affinity xxx" adds to the affinity

(xxx being the number of affinity)

after changing the affinity you have to do something the companion likes to trigger the conversation

you can find out what to do here: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-11-10-fallout-4-companions-romance-and-perks-4019

if you don't want to listen to each conversation just set the affinity to somewhere over 1000.

You still need a high charisma to get in a relationship and as far as I know you only have one shot at asking for a relationship so quicksave before asking and maybe boost your charisma first with "setav charisma 10"

INV works as a short alternative to showinventory.

type in "Help * # ????" to get a list of commands. Replace the * with what your looking for and itll google through the whole game for any commands or strings or settings with whatever you typed amongst it. replace # with a number between 0 and 4. 0 is every type of console magic, 1 is direct commands like god mode or showing the character making menu, 2 is strings, 3 is settings and stats and statuses of things like quest states and how many times youve fired teddy bears at children; 4 is objects like items or places. you can find piper herself, every weapon or piece of armor, the loaded areas that you enter (those are called Cells) amongst others. when using 4, you can add things like MISC to only search through miscelaneous objects, ARMO to find only wearable stuff, WEAP for weapons, etc.

Anyone know how to change the appearance of your character? I've tried the ShowChargenMenu, but nothing comes of it.

Pretty funny. The NPC is so far away (obviously, well out of sight) that you need a console command to find or retrieve him or her- so how do you propose one would "target the desired NPC with your mouse in the console?"

Since it is impossible to mouse-target someone who isn't there, the only way is to obtain the NPC's RefID- either by having targeted her in the console beforehand when she was standing next to you and writing it down for future reference, or by looking it up online.

Once you know the NPC's RefID, enter

prid <RefID>
moveto player

Alternatively, you can go to her instead of bringing her to you. Enter

player.moveto <RefID>

Anyone know command to remove recoil? There must be i think because there is a super accuracy perk u can add.

I modded one of my weapons in Fallout New Vegas, including removing recoil and "scope wobble." As far as I know, there is no global "recoil" variable- it is a specific attribute/property of each weapon. Weapon attributes can only be changed using the CK (Creation Kit, GECK), and not the console.

I believe that the "super accuracy" perk you're referring to applies only to VATS shots, not sighted or hipfire weapon shots. In VATS, since there is no actual aiming involved, weapon aiming attributes such as recoil and scope wobble are simply irrelevant and therefore disregarded... but not actually modified in any way.

I read that the FO4 CK would be released "early in 2016."

I can confirm that the "showinventory" command works on NPCs.

I don't recall... Is this the command which allows you to give/take items, as well? In that case, will NPCs on FO4 use Stimpacks put into their inventory, or are we limited to medicating wounded followers? =0[.]o=

Not sure how to directly add exp or change stats so as to get perks on levelup, but I do notice that using kill, resurrect, kill consecutively on a target does seem to grant me exp. Need someone else to confirm. A hacky method of levelling, but still.

Note on using resurrect:

resurrect seems to place an instance of the target in it's place. Their inventory will be set back to match their starting template. Typing resurrect 1 will instead restore the current instance to an alive state. translation: all that junk you traded to the dead guy doesn't vanish when he gets back up.

Or at least, it shouldn't. This is how it behaved in Skyrim.
