SWYD1
Is there an option in the config to reduce the brightness of the sun?I'm feeling dazzled and it hurts my eyes to play like this for hours.

Yeah, that and Godrays effect. Thank JJ Abrams for the sun glare / flare effects. That toxin has invaded far too many games. Thankfully you can disable it . Oh, and I do feel night time is a bit too bright. In the future I want to find a mod that will darken night time somewhat, hopefully via full user control. Though, I'm glad I don't need night vision just to see at all as my character lacks such gear just yet. Mixed bag I suppose. yunage
Still doesn't quite do it though. I wish we could do more, especially indoors.
SWYD1
Thanks, now it looks fine. I used bNvGodraysEnable=0 and set Godray Quality to Off.Well these two do the same thing I guess. I really dislike these Godray effects but sadly we see them in a lot of games these days. I really dislike these Godray effects but sadly we see them in a lot of games these days.Odd, many dig them. At least they can be turned off.I like them, but they need a calmer texture. neiljwd
Have to say I'm loving the brightness, wonderfully refreshing. Plus when a 'radiation storm' came in, it was all the more foreboding for the contrast. Graphic presets and ENB's will allow you to make it darker soon enough. I'm hearing some frustration coming from ENBDev..
