ThunderCAP
Just doing this again in the right section of the forum, which before didn't exist (they just created it). So here I'm requesting again for a Fallout 4 Centered 3rd person camera mod Bethesda never learns, so the modders are required again year after year, title after title, for this obvious addition.(Previous topic was already much discussed, imho you can continue there if you prefer, but this section will become the correct one and this mod needs to be requested here too: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3368530-centered-3rd-person-camera-mod/)
NCRForever
Agreed. I tried setting it like I have done in Skyrim. But it doesn't work. Some Skyrim ini edits work fine. Some don't. But we really NEED a centered, unraised 3rd person cam.
AtmaDarkwolf
a slightly raised one too ;P
ThunderCAP
a slightly raised one too ;PYes of course it must be raised above character's head to be effective, I guess nobody would create a camera with an aim in the middle of the character^^. Ragnin
Please yes. I really need a centered 3rd person camera mod.
Gisla
I whole heartedly agree. The first thing I tried to mod was the 3rd person camera by trying some settings from Skyrim's ini. These are NOT necessarily the same in Fallout 4.[Camera]fOverShoulderAddY=0.0000fOverShoulderPosZ=10.0000fOverShoulderPosX=0.0000 --------this is the setting that controls the camera offset when unarmedfOverShoulderCombatAddY=0.0000fOverShoulderCombatPosZ=10.0000fOverShoulderCombatPosX=0.0000But when I added them to both ini's in the Documents folder as well as the default ini in the game folder, it only threw my aim off, and the camera was still offset. I need to find out what ini(s) need to be modified, there are 3 of them plus a 4th called "Fallout4Custom". I'm not sure what they all do yet. Well the only file that needs to be adjusted is the Fallout 4.ini main file. I messed around with these settings yesterday on Fallout 4 and discovered that they don't slide the camera, they swing it. AddY determines forward and back position in a sliding mannerPosX rotates the camera around the player horizontallyPosZ tilts the camera around the player verticallyThe game may have some new settings that need to be adjusted, if that's the case than it should be a simple ini tweak. Otherwise, it'll have to be modded. I'm going to poke around as much as I can, I'm not really a modder but I'm pretty desperate to get this one. AtmaDarkwolf
Really wish this was just a freaking option, by the time i get to 'play' the game, it'll come out as a GOTY version. First person is ok i spose, but 3rd (proper not this lopsided headache s#*!) person is how i feel fo's should be played(since fo3) And ffs why do they keep trying to force it on us? is it a 'keep force feeding it and eventually they will like it' mindset?
