Support UTF-8 for subtitles ?

thx, however, those are the english ones, but I was interested in the one you translated; just to see.

The french ones at least are for sure in utf8 now.

This is a good sign that all other will be too, because it's easier for an engin to rely on a single standard (but the files are a bit heavier too)

In tesvt for skyrim, you have to force utf8 export, or you have to set the encoding of the destination language in the codepage.txt file

ok so:

Open the codepage.txt file, replace its content by this one, and save the file

(backup the old one if you want to use the tool for skyrim)

#codepage correspondance (fallout4)
english=utf8
french=utf8
arabic=utf8

Close tesvt and reopen it.
in option, choose english as source and arabic as dest.

everything should be in utf8

If you save a new set of file it will be saved in utf8

however, arabic deosnt seem to be supported by defaut by the game so it's also possible that the game doesnt handle the right charset. And in that case, tesvt cant do anything for that.
