Although all companions affected by this bug cannot be assigned to tasks in any settlement, all of my companions that are affected by it were at one point dismissed to the Red Rocket. None of my companions that have never been there are affected by this bug. Edit. This is likely is a bug that can affect any settlement/companions sent to that settlement, Red Rocket is just where it happened to me. People leave settlementThe whole group I picked up from Museum disappeared from Sanctuary and are sitting back at the Museum again.They are still counted as people in the settlement tho...I can make Preston follow me but thats about it. Also doesn't matter where I send him, he always goes back to Museum.Edit: tried to move,kill and resurrect them with console, doesn't do a thing. They are like glued to the Museum.By antze Had this happen to me. Had just finished the Starlight Drive-In quest and fast traveled back to Sanctuary and started wondering where everyone went. SMB1980 Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Can't properly open any maglock doors via terminals I get on the terminal, and I select [Open Door]. Then it says "Accessing maglocks...", and after about three seconds it says "Security lock released. Opening doors...", but nothing actually happens. The terminal is stuck at the "Opening doors..." screen forever, and if I go back to the previous screen, it says "STATUS: Locked". Transitioning between an interior and an exterior cell causes the door to finally open. I am playing with 'timescale' set to 10, so that might have something to do with it, although I've trying setting it to 20 (default) before accessing the terminal and had no success. If anyone who's been playing with the default timescale can confirm that they don't have this problem, then this is definitely a bug. I had this same issue. Had to walk away from the terminal and then it opened. Happened on couple different locations. I had the iFPSClamp60 setting in FalloutPrefs.ini, have to try without it to see if it helps. So, I just finished the quest to get Nick Valentine. Went to Sanctuary to stash my junk, but when I press on the Workshop, it tells me, "You are not allied with this settlement." Same with Red Rocket and Tenpines Farm. Reloading does not help. Did I do something wrong? Or do I need to start a new save?ChrisDovahkiinI had the exact same problem. I'm stuck and don't know what to do!!! I lost control over all allied settlements too. I took the castle after noticing this and now it's the only place I can access the workshop. I tried loading the save file from a different PC, same thing happening! Any code or mod to fix this is much appreciated. Thanks in advanced. I tried everything: scrapping the power generators, using the minute men on the mortar, throwing smoke nades, reloaded by going through a door or fast traveling, using different power generators, made sure I actually have sufficient power. Nycidian Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) I bought a second level 2 general store and placed it into sanctuary and noticed that its inventory was identical to the first stores inventory. With some testing I confirmed the inventories were shared where buying from one reduced the inventory of the other. sagiboi Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 After I met Piper in Diamond City. I talked to her and she's available for recruiting. I tried to talk to Preston who is in my T-45 armor to remove it but all he gives is the damn "are we ready to take the castle yet" dialogue. So I hire, Piper send Preston back to Sanctuary. (He's now the worst character at the bottom of my list due to his annoying dialogue). Later I went sanctuary to try recruit him. He stripped down to his briefs. no idea where all my gear was. He CANNOT be recruited. All he gives is the annoying retake castle dialogue so I said yes. Did the retake castle quest. After retaking castle. he disappeared back to Sanctuary again. Stripped to his briefs and cannot be rehired back as a companion. All he give is random comments. No dialogue choices appeared. Does anyone know how to fix him with and without Console.
