-Mod Wishlist- (what would "you" like to see in f4 ?)

There are mods out there to change the dialogue options. Check out Gopher on youtube, he can lead you to those mods. And there are several more, between him and Dirty Weasel Media, you can find some cool mods.

Aside from my plugin for two good guys, I have a list of mods I want to see. I think many of you have said all of these, but I am going to boil them down, simply.

1) Settlement mods. From leveling the ground to fixing up houses already there, cleaning up junk, and stuff around settlements; to my list, which is prefab buildings that actually look good, with good solid beginnings at actual protection from the elements. Add to this, I would like to see plumbing, running water, etc. To help with food, a waterwheel, where available, and a huge grind stone. (All area settlements send people with the razorgrain, and convert it to better food.) As to defenses of a settlement, I would like three things. One is to know whether my defenses can withstand a Super Mutant attack, or a ghoul attack. Can it hold up against raiders or gunners, from the outside? And the ability to send in Brotherhood of Steel and minutemen to take care of defenses when I am in the middle of a mission elsewhere. Not postpone, but rather to help the defenses there. And settler renaming. I also want to see what can help with happiness in the settlement. And an armory for the settlers to trade in their pipe pistols for better weapons. (Pipe pistols should all be broken down to components, and stored in the workshop.) And a myriad other things. One other thing, Sanctuary Hills, the houses could start to be fixed up by Codsworth, and could be further done so by follow on settlers. And there are also entertainment items to add to this. What I would like to see is say a settlement, or somewhere you cleared out, such as the Combat Zone, which is repurposed for radio/tv brooadcast.

2) Companion mods. From allowing more than one companion at a time, to adding in new ones. I like the JCCS, or is it the NCCS, wheel system to commanding companions.

3) UI, Pipboy, and menu options. DarnUI, and other HUD mods would be really nice. Add to this, different options for the Pipboy, such as Readius, backgrounds, holographic, or even older pipboy 3k's. (I would like more for companions, and even settlers.) I personally would like to see a revamp of the various menus. I want to be able to use my pipboy to see more, and even do more, such as interact with the workshop, and be able to do some of the work that way. And optional power armor HUD.

4) More weapons. I want to add more armor. I liked the old armor from Fallout 3/NV, and I would like to see that back. Like I want the combat armor, with the combat armor pieces. And more mods, as well. And add in more mods for power armor. I also would like to see a jet pack for use bot in armor, and out of armor. I think the jet packs from say some of the older tv shows that used them would be nice, for personal use. For the power armor, Iron man style flying, hovering, etc. As for more weapons, we need more. And nice modern weapons, as well. Oh, and more ammo, ammo types, etc. One other thing, better fit to all armor, and even clothes.

5) Clear areas/buildings, etc. I want to say that traveling through a few place, more than once, with more and more enemies popping out of the wood work is no fun. I don't want to have to kill, again, a ton of ghouls because I already cleared the building 3 times ago, for yet another mission through said place. Once clear, always clear. Oh, and again with settlements, once enough defenses, and you did one mission for them, they will not bug you, at all, except for improvements, etc. to make them a little more happy each time you go through.

6) Special, Skills, Perks, etc. I liked the FO3/NV style of that stuff, where you leveled up, you could pick the skills you wanted, then perks, and those could include adding to your Special stats. On top of this, karma options, and even reputation.

7) Weather, grass, trees, etc. Personally, I want the option to turn off all weather, day and night, and enjoy a nice sunny day, and a nice cool, starry night. Some people might not agree, but I am also including darker nights, street lamps, and a myriad other things here. And I think that things should be growing, again, even after 200 years. Oh, and blocking the storms from the glowing sea. Or even somewhat lessening them.

8) Body, face, hair mods. I would like sliders for face parts, hair, and body parts. The would be a mix of various styles, such as Fallout 3/Nv, and the Skyrim body sliders mods, and even Star Trek Online. The hair style, color, and length can be handled a variety of ways.

9) Vehicles. I like the idea of a vehicle that I can drive from point a to point b. I want to add something to that. What I would like to add is that it is armed. And you can either have it armed like turrets for settlements, or have turrets that companions get in, and fire weapons where/when needed. Oh, and a place to store your power armor inside, as well. I never leave home with mine, so it should go with me. Also, each settlement should have vehicles that the provisioners use to do that jobs. And there should be scout vehicles for sending out settlers for this piece of equipment, or that, and a vehicle to get all that stuff. And help the area improve. (I know I am crossing things again, but I think this could help a variety of ways, not just one.)

10) Hardcore, food, drink, etc. changes. I don't play hardcore not because of the hardness of it, but because it can get a bit too much immersive. But what I would like to see, though, even in normal mode, is the elements for hunger, thirst, etc. And even how stuff I am carrying in the HUD. But I want to be able to turn those things on or off by a couple in game menus. Like I want to turn on the hunger part, even in a normal game, but I don't want to eat more than say once every so often. Drink, though, should be on, just either scaled up or down, as you play. And even sleep.

11) I know, the OP wants only 10, but I have one other not covered by my list already, fully. But it was mentioned, though. Clean beds, clothes, etc. With cloth, Abraxo, and some time, things might not be back to pre war stuff, but they should be clean, or able to be cleaned. Such as the vanilla beds. I wouldn't want to sleep on a vanilla bed, period. I might catch twenty different things. However, with "clean" metal, cloth, and other things, you can make a clean bed. And by providing power to settlements, they should break out washers and driers for at least clothes. If not a sewing machine, and other things to even make nice clothes, again.

I know I crossed a few things, but that's what I do sometimes. Anyway, I know that it's not one simple mod, but a bunch, and I tried to boil them down fairly simple.

I'd like to see:

1. Binoculars/spyscope. Craftable and modifiable with the right skills (perception and crafting perks, increase distance, clarity, etc.)

2. A way to annotate the map. ( I found the *secondary location*, now I can't damn well find it again!) or (I know there was a master lock safe here somewhere....)

Don't know how possible some of these are but anyway.

1) A gore mod with wounding, similar to the animations seen on ghouls when you blow their leg off but for humans, super mutants and so on.

2) Animals like mole rats, dogs and other carnivores partially eat corpses.

3) Being able to pick up a stunned enemy e.g. shoot with lockjoint syringe and drop over railing.

Show equipped weapons on the player model. I seriously don't get why they would remove this. I would rather see it clip in terrain and float an inch from the player model than just be gone altogether.

/thread

all the other sugestions seems irelevant in comparison to this one

Hear hear but that, based on the idea that the talented souls here insert some weapons into the the game that are'nt **** ugly! Just keeping track of what weapon your char is toting at that moment given the horrid console layout of the favorites menu.. which I'm certain WILL be fixed in due course (if it hasn't already).

But there is so much needing adressing for non-console players, and so much potential my Number ONE wish is a good, stable, effective GECK or Creation Kit because if they bollix that one up we're stuffed! And sorry to say, given how PC players have been treated so far... Console hand-me-downs... ouch!

But early days eh? Lot's of stuff could be fixed with a solid update or two from the devs who must understand that the console market will saturate out in 12 months or whenever they do the final DLC but the PC market will be a steady little erner for... what? Five years?.. So perhaps they feel in no great hurry to adress 'our' issues  But a good stable GECK will make the game sell in the long run, because of what all you guys can do.
