I looked on the forums and didn't find anything specific to this. If there is something related and I missed it, I apologize in advance.

Basically, when you try to place a fence near another fence, you have to leave a gap between them or the placement model turns from green to red. I would like to be able to overlap the objects I'm building to make fencing more seamless. It would also apply to placing furniture closer to walls and in tighter places where they normally wouldn't. Basically, disable the thing that prevents you from placing stuff wherever you want.

Thanks.

Just as this relates to build mode I figure it's worth mentioning spawning in build mode items from the console and deleting them lowers allocated build size allowing for more building...

Yes it's unrelated to this issue but hey it's worth knowing, and yes this mod would be nice as it would fix one of the few issues I have with build mode (the other main one is the existence of a size limit)

The maximum amount of settlers is also 20 (with 10 charisma) wich is just as bad as the size.. I was hyped to build a big city. To build the new capital of the commonwealth. man was i dissappointed when i found out..

Not to mention how bad the building system is for building what you want.

Wouldn't say just as bad, you run into the size issue a lot faster and it's a lot more limiting, it's just lucky to have a workaround if you can be arsed to spawn stuff

I did mention this on some main idea's thread. We can all relate, that there are issues with the placement and fences handing in air and so on! Happy to see someone else eager to change it! :)

If it helps anyone at all, i found that if you place a wall or fence or whatever, you can disable it in the console menu and then re enable it once the second object is in its desired location.
This helps me a lot with building a surrounding wall, the small gaps were a pain.

If there is a mod tho that removes the collision limit, please link it to me :)
Same as the population cap one :)

what is this command, would help greatly since for some reason the game hates corners in building mode.
