BetteCorvega
EDIT: Oh yeah, that reminds me, I've got pretty much everything done except for implementing the Infatuation Repeater Scene and the two audio lines of dialogue for the Male Player in the last approval conversation that I don't have. Other than that, there's only small stuff like picking facial expressions (which I will leave to someone else... I am not a good judge of facial expressions). Then it SHOULD be done (keyword being 'should' - something always goes wrong with these types of things  ). That's amazing!! Wow! I can't believe we're so close! I'm working on that Infatuation Repeater Scene right now; as soon as I'm a bit further along I will share what I've got! Those last two lines of dialogue for the male player are now in my dropbox - here's links to the two individual files: MalePC 01 MalePC 02 I've also added a list of the facial expressions I'm suggesting we use for each line of dialogue to two text files in my dropbox: conversation dialogue additional dialogueI added those to the text files in my google docs too. Let me know if you guys want to change any of those, though! I also looked a bit more into how much non-romance specific additional dialogue the romanced characters in the vanilla game use, and I think some of my guesses about that were probably wrong. I was wondering if the additional dialogue I had listed is still okay though, at least for now, because we'll be a bit short in some categories if we change it (I figured we were still planning to add some more romance lines later anyway though, so this might not be an issue in the future). It seems like romanced characters might use romance specific dialogue only for the "relationship" question, both romance and infatuation dialogue for the greetings, and romance dialogue plus some dialogue from every other approval level (plus all the location specific idles they use at every approval level) for the idles. However, I had infatuation level and admiration level dialogue listed as stuff to keep using (in addition to the new romance dialogue) for all of those things. What do you guys think? Well, at least for me, I don't want this to be just a one-and-done type thing. My pipe dream is to expand this into a full-fledged romance, along the lines of Baldur's Gate romances or something - okay, maybe not that extensive, but much more in-depth, and with quests and such (though it would have to be unvoiced in certain sections, but oh well... I miss my unvoiced protagonist anyway :) ). Obviously, there's no commitment for this - none of you have to do this by any means, and I don't even know if it will pan out, anyway, but that's my dream... Anyway, when I get the lines for the Infatuation Repeater Scene, I'll post the ESP on my Google Drive and give you all a link to it (and some files I need LIPs for because I had to split them up/alter them slightly because of the dialog character limit and stuff). shadowslasher410
Hmm... That reminds me. Would you all mind if I was the one who put the mod on Nexus? I would give all of you access to edit it and stuff (and list you guys as Co-Authors and in the Credits section). My reasoning is that any issues that arise will most likely be in the scripting or scenes part of the mod, and so it would be easiest for me to troubleshoot them that way. Is that okay with you guys? If it's not, I'm sure we can think of something else. Either way, we're almost there, everyone!

Also would you be willing to send me the esp file for it? Im desperate to try it out even though it isn't quite finished yet Ahaha, sure. Needs to be alpha tested before release anyway, and I just started a new game so I don't have the save game for it. Just don't decline the romance the first time; until the repeater scene is put in place, not sure what that would do to the romance... probably break it. Lemme just gather up all the assets and I'll post a link. EDIT: Can you generate LIP files? Since you're testing it and all, if you can I would appreciate it. The files needing LIP files are in a separate folder, in Sound/Voice/NickValentineRomance.esp/ And then a folder with the actor that says them. Once you have the LIP files just pop 'em in the correct folders and you should be good. Note that if you don't have LIP files, the audio and/or dialog may go by too quickly. EDIT2: As for uploading it on Bethesda.net I'd have to ask SigridStorrada and BetteCorvega (I'm assuming you're okay with it, since you're asking), but if they're fine with it, I'm game as well. I'm so glad you're up for continuing to add or make changes to this mod after we publish it! As far as expanding the romance further goes, I'd be interested in helping with that if you do decide to go that route and would like the assistance! I think we should also keep a version of the mod available that only contains content on the level of the vanilla romances, though, for people who just want that. Regarding the audio files you split, did the facial expressions I listed still work with the way you broke some of those longer lines down? Or did you need someone to work out different expressions if you split them differently than I did? Hmm... That reminds me. Would you all mind if I was the one who put the mod on Nexus? I'd be up for helping out with a Deacon romance mod if you guys are interested in working on one! I think I might wait to join in on that until we have this mod at full parity with the vanilla romances, though, since there's still a bit of additional dialogue we technically need before that's the case (even after that repeater scene is done). EDIT2: As for uploading it on Bethesda.net I'd have to ask SigridStorrada and BetteCorvega (I'm assuming you're okay with it, since you're asking), but if they're fine with it, I'm game as well. Radman622
Really looking forward to this mod, looks like you guys have put a lot of thought and effort into this! It would be amazing if this group could form that continues to collaborate to as some people said make fully fledged quests and so forth - now that the Creation Kit is out the possibilities are nearly endless... In my mind it should be up to the player whether or not to transfer Nick into a Gen 3 body or not. A replacer type mod already exist for Nick as a gen 3: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10400/? , maybe you could collaborate with them for after the optional quest is completed :D

Either way, we're almost there, everyone! That's absolutely fine by me :) I did have an idea though guys, and I wanted to run it by you all and see what you thought now that we're speaking about Nexus. When we upload this mod to the Nexus & Bethesda.net we'll have to have some design for the page. Well, my partner's a graphic designer (we actually work together - I do the copywriting :P) and I've already run the idea by him to see if he might do some artwork/design for the page to make it look appealing and he's totally up for it :) If you guys had other plans though, that's no problem too :) Also, we'd obviously all sign-off on the design before we posted it to make sure that everyone was happy with the final product, if you did want to go ahead with getting my partner to make up some art. But anyway, I'll leave it up to you lot! I don't mind at all, you and Bette did most of the work! Speaking of which, are you planning to upload it to like the official Bethesda mods as well as nexus? I know a lot of console users who want to date the toaster. Also would you be willing to send me the esp file for it? I'm not personally looking to romance him but it seems like a fair amount of people really wanted him to be an optionCool idea :) I'd be down for helping out with a Deacon romance mod as well, though I'm not as familiar with his character as I am with Nick's. Could be a fun project though, after we're finished with Valentine! EDIT: Can you generate LIP files? Since you're testing it and all, if you can I would appreciate it. Get ya lip files! I've generated lip files for what I THINK is all the new/altered dialogue. You can find the loose lip files here. I've also packaged the lip and wav files into fuz files here, in case you need those. If I'm missing any lines of dialogue just let me know and I'll fix it. Also, if you'd like for me to put the files into the esp then I can do that too :)
