SylvanRuin
Ive been expanding the Arcane University's population. And Ive tried to make the lecture area (the area where students are given lectures by a scholar at a podium) and Ive moved the benches where the students sit, and added an additional row. But when I go into the actual game, the original benches are back to their original place, and the benches I added are just as I put them. The mod that modified their position is very last in my load order. But something keeps moving them back to their normal spot. I took two screenshots for convenience: What its meant to look like. And how it's shown in the Construction set. How it looks in game. See how the first two rows are back to the Vanilla placing. I would really appreciate someone's more experienced opinion. As opposed to myself I that is.
Hickory
My guess is that you are loading an old save game which is restoring the original data. To check, quit to the desktop (important), then restart Oblivion and start a new game with your mod active. No need to play through, just coc to the AU cell and check the placement of the benches. I did exactly what you suggested, and you were right :) In the new game the seats were all where I moved them to. But how can I force my current save to adopt the changes? Thank you very much
Hickory
Try performing a clean save. Quit to the desktop, disable your mod and load the save game. In the console type: coc center While in no-mans-land, wait for four whole days. Now type: save "New Save" Quit and re-enable your mod. Restart the game and load "New Save". Do not go anywhere! Wait for a further 4 days and then in the console type: save "New Save 2" Now fast travel to the IC University and see what you will see.

SylvanRuin
Okay, I tried your method, but every time I save in 'no mans land' the save is corrupted. I have tried so many other things but it just isn't working out, why is this one thing so difficult to fix? Isn't a mod supposed to modify the game, why does the construction set not appear to make any difference with this small detail? Grr! Shouldn't the original data not exist if Ive modded it? Hickory
Okay, I tried your method, but every time I save in 'no mans land' the save is corrupted. Then there is something wrong with your installation. First, and foremost, is your game installed outside of the default UAC protected 'Program Files' folder structure? If not, you should uninstall and reinstall to somewhere like C:\Windows\Games\. Second, is your \Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves\ folder holding too many saves? Rename the Saves folder to SavesBackup and create a brand new Saves folder. And have Windows run Chkdsk on your drive/s.
SylvanRuin
Ive been through all that  Thanks anyways. Im not all that amateur at all this modding business anymore actually, I use Wrye Bash and such. The game saves fine, it's just when I'm in the Center area  Thank you for helping. Try cleaning your mod with something like TES4Edit.Download : http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11536HowToUse : http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Tes4View#Cleaning_a_Dirty_Plugin Hope this helps. Also , make sure that it's no other mod that alters that very area is activated. - If I remember well there are quite a few mods that do that.
