seekingthesun
If you fail the G.O.A.T. or have a low intelligence character they give you a pipe boy, which is just a cut segment of pipe over your arm

ezra01
They talked about making certain mods available for console as well so I seriously hope someone makes this and it becomes useable on PS4 cause I have fallen in love with my NCR ranger Readius

Acidated
Better yet, just tell people to install it after you leave the vault or the animation will be Immersion breaking. That way you still do the "turn key-open hatch-get blinded by the light" thing and then, save-quit-enable mod-start up-continue with Readius instead. On the note of Immersion breaking, perhaps include an optional file that has a Redius-looking object to be found on the body of a General's skeleton. It's something that can be "found" and then they can do the above process to find a better version than what was left for the trapped scientists. Ya, it's kinda kinky and weird, but at least we would have the Readius; and besides, there's the whole rest of the game that it would be just fine for. I don't know. Seems if it was done in 3 aaaand then done in NV aaaaand it's soooo wanted aaaaand many reasons it would be good to have...then I'm sure Immersion scientists and everyone at Aperture are hard and fast working to "Make it so." dragnhuntr666
If the Readius is not possible, then maybe something like a wrist band that produces a hologram of the pip boy interface. This way all the animations can still be done and the holographic interface goes away when you put the pip boy away. Just an idea.Maybe something like this mod, but when you open your pip-boy or turn on the flashlight, it has this look, but when you put the pip-boy away, all you see is a wristband:http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43219/?tab=3&selected_game=130&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fnewvegas%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D43219%26user%3D1%26gid%3D130&pUp=1 Edited June 14, 2016 by dragnhuntr666
ninjarat314
Or another solution entirely would be to hide the pip-boy on the players arm, then set it to when you open your pip-boy menu, it's the Power armor's inventory hud. Or at least someone could start from there and work on making it. Just a suggestion.

I really only use power armor if I have to and on one of my characters. The rest of the time, I'm using armor mods and awesome looking clothing mods. Yeah, the power armor pip-boy screen is nice, but not everyone likes that sort of thing.
mikeloeven
I support this because i have used the readius for so long in New Vegas i forgot what the original pip boy looked like and when i saw it again it made me sad not to mention the whole power armor issue. Wastelander : why do you have a glowing green tentacle for an armMe : Radiation induced mutation the pip boy interferes with power armor suit seals Edited August 4, 2016 by mikeloeven
