SpencerS
How does one get the constant glowing sphere around you when a shiedl spell is 'engaged'? I tried an amulet with CE Shield but it came on for a second then went to 'invisible shield' mode. Has this been sorted in a patch where people were complaining about 'seeing stars' in 1st person view mode?
Pob
Try patching. I have 1.61 (and both expansions) and it works okay on mine. I have wriathgaurd/ebony mail and it shows as a purple bubble round you. The starts show up anyway every so often when it is up. Only other thing I can think of is that it is so low level that it is bairley visible. Check graphics card as well in case its something there (the more technical minded may have a better idea what)
Switch
With me shield effects from constant effect items don't stay either. Also when Dremora die they don't smoke like they used to on my old PC, they just collapse to the floor then appear as a pile of ashes and a weapon. I think it's just a glitch in some graphics cards... I have the latest patches and everything, it's just always worked that way since I got this PC. thanateros
The thing with this is that I've equipped CE shield items and the bubble will show up for about a minute and then it just dissappears, which sucks because the effect is cool. I'm more inclined to believe it's a game issue rather than a video card issue since people can see the bubble and then it simply goes away. The theory that the weaker spells might have the same effect might be true since IIRC in the Her Hand armor there is a CE shield effect and it doesn't show up whereas with the Spear of Heaven (or whatever it is) you can see the shield effect.
