No limit on SPECIAL stat?

So if you didn't know this already, you can level your S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats up to 10 via leveling, then again further to 11 with the bobblehead.

Now we come to You Are S.P.E.C.I.A.L. books. How many are there? Can you put them all into 1 statistic to make it crazy high?

If say, you get 10 charisma, bobblehead, and 4 YAS books to get 15 charisma, does that add 15 to your settlement limit?

I think there's only one You Are S.P.E.C.I.A.L. book in the game. So I guess you can get one stat to 12.

There's only one You're Special Book. I don't know if it raises the state above 10 if you have a 10 stat already. But I know Bobbleheads raise your Stat above 10 if you have one already.

 

So, the max is 11 as far as I know.

The "You Are S.P.E.C.I.A.L." book will not raise a stat above 10. Once your stat is already at 10, it will not show as an option when you use the book.

 

This is also the case when all your stats are already at 10 or higher. When this is the case, the only option you have will be "Do nothing.", the book will still be consumed as if you did spend a point however.
