Gilibran Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 So i was making my way towards the interstate crossing where you meet Deacon for the 1st railroad mission. Almost there i noticed a person kneeling and when i got closer saw he was kneeling next to a grave. I approached carefully and almost upon him saw it was a raider. He attacked once he saw me and i killed him. Thinking he was grave robbing i looked at the grave and to my big surprise there was a dead female raider lying neatly in the grave. Apparently my first impression was completely wrong and this raider was burrying his partner and paying his last respects to her. I was actually quite touched by this and decided not to loot them and even dropped the raider i killed in the grave with his partner. Anyone else encountered similar events? this was obvious not something random but very deliberatly placed. Part of a quest perhaps?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lessabos Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 I heard one great dialog between raiders behind Hardware Store near the Diamond city, shortly it was about a random guy they lured inside the store to kill him, when he found out it was a trap, he started to throw granades but it turned out it was all stones and did the explosions with his mouth, then he retreated to doors pretending to shoot machine gun and after that he go outside and took few attempts to start a motorbike all while just doing those sounds with his lips and when raiders finnaly figured that out and rushed outside they saw him running to highway still doing motorbike sound. I heard that there's a second part to that story that you can overhear about the same guy. I think he went through a super mutant camp and survived cause they were all confused. They instantly aggro if you get close. I stood there for a second or two not attacking with my gun holstered. It only ended in him turning around, seeing me, and starting to attack. Which is really lame since they could have used that to show off their "stand down" system, which I still have yet to see the game ever materialize in any useful fashion. FishBiter Posted November 25, 2015 Share Posted November 25, 2015 I shot him in the back of the head, then laughed when I saw the raider in the grave. Left them both in their underwear. They're not sweet emotionally tender people... they're raiders. If they saw me kneeling by a grave they'd kill me just as fast.
