Those are what Montky is referring to. They have motorcycles but depending on what you want, they may not do it for you. Try them out and leave the mod authors feedback or ask if they'll let you work on it yourself.

Not quite there yet, but interesting. I'll see if I can contact the modder later, but I do not have much intention of trying to create a mod myself.
The general idea would be to "harvest" the Lone Wanderer bikes around the map for parts and pieces after retrieving the first one of them to your base. Placing the one you retrieved as if it was a Workshop and using it, spending the pieces you gathered and the creating the motorcycle that works almost like the ones on the "Car Bot" mod you showed, deleting the "workshop" as soon as the bike spawns.

It should allow you to ride, aim and shoot, consume fusion cores like the power armor, and you should be able to find horses or riding raiders around, from time to time. Being able to also ride that which you find, but the bikes you find should stop working after a while, be it breaking or any reason you might have to lose said bike... or not, I don't know. The idea was to force the player to fix the Lone Wanderer in order to have a good bike that can cover a long distance in a short time and still allow you to fight on top of it.

and it is very important to leave them the feedback at the least - they did excellent work!

these work without any DLCs, and are better than some DLCs.

 

it is even possible to change the acceleration in those.

'warp speed automa-throne' and a merging with the portal-gun mod...

they are all awesome!

you can even add custom SFX for the vehicles.

 

the forklift is somewhat too fragile in vanilla-modded though. drive off a little step - big BOOM.

the vault tec van is prone to sudden random flipping, often resulting in death.

I enjoy the foibles though hehe.

 

Automathrone is hilarious.

the vault-chair instead of mama-murphy's?

SFX of a braking truck or train for stopping... Bender as train VO as well

easily modded and hilarious.

I just remembered seeing a non-lore motorbike for skyrim once. the way it worked, you equipped it like a pair of pants and then it would look like you were really riding it. I guess this would be one way to make it work in Fallout 4, if you "equipped" it the same way you did power armor.

 

The only problem was, the mod didn't add in the animations necessary to make it look like a motorcycle so the bike kept on going up and down every time you ran. But... in Fallout 4, we have the power armor which you can get in and out of it anytime you want, and I think we could make the motorcycles work the same way. The modder would just need to know how to animate the motorcycle correctly, and to make it much faster than the power armors.

 

Think of it! Having the motorcycles serve a similar function to power armor but be separate from them would fix the logistics of getting one in game. :) and maybe add a new station similar to the power armor station that allows you to fix up motorcycles and maybe even customize it. That would be nice.
