Isn't the mod supposed to make it so that after the quest is over things go back as they were? What do the names of the mages matter, aren't they better than nothing, or just generic NPCs that don't do or say much of anything? You don't mind the fact that they were able to rebuild the guild, just as it was within a week, but have a problem with the same people inside the guild? Just because they're dead doesn't mean anything, they're wizards, they used magic... You aren't going to get any super special replacements or anything with this, all the effort required to make them just isn't worth the result. At best, any new NPCs would have generic dialogue, and do about the same sort of stuff (stand around looking busy). You aren't going to have anyone making new quests out of the guild or anything since it would require finishing the mages guild first (most people downloading content don't want to go through the whole questline to see anything). Also, new quests mean new dialogue, and alot of scripting (kinda why there aren't many good ones). What's available is probably as good as you're likely to get unless someone capable really sees a point to doing something else. It's not like you really have to go in there for anything.
