HillbillyDave
If you were building settlements, setting up supply lines and shops would be an obvious thing to do so rather than have the supply lines and shop building which are both vital to successful settlement management being locked behind a perk that requires 6 Charisma and is devoted only to that, you should be able to do that without a perk and that perk should do something else. Like for example, keeping the name and only 2 ranks, rank 1 increases your settler cap by 5, and rank 2 increases it by 10 so instead of a potential 20 settler cap per settlement, you could have 30. Anchevv
And make the perk useless?Settlement's are optional, if you want to have full access to it you sure need to spend some points.Actually, this perk is what doesn't make the charisma a dump stat. The perk is already useless if you don't want to do settlements since literally ALL it does is give you more settlement management options. If you do choose to do settlements, changing it as I suggested is beneficial to all players regardless of their charisma because low charisma characters can still set supply routes and build shops and it allows players with the perk to increase the settler cap which would make it quite useful because more settlers = more people doing jobs and higher shop income. HillbillyDave
Bump. Is there anyone that could make this happen that would be willing to?
lonewolfmoon
Yep, I agree with dave on this, I don't want to build settlements but to do the minuteman line you sorta have to. Having items spread all over the place and dragging them back and forth is a pain. Just make all the storage common and accessible from any settlement. Stupid to do it with 6 char. unless you're really into role playing a shopkeeper trader. Sorry not into role playing a merchant. I just want to kill s#*! and rule the world :D Needs a Mod badly:
dirint
Charisma is a huge driving force in every quest you do. There are dialog options you can only succeed in with Charisma. That is however if you're playing the game. If you're playing The Sims, then I could see this request being a good addition to letting you build what you want to build without much Charisma. Plus like you said, being a Local Leader means jack s#*! in terms of supply lines. It means being able to manage and lead a larger amount of people, so I think the raising of the settlement cap is a great idea to the perk. I think it would also be beneficial to increase the settlement happiness with it. Maybe +5 +5 / +10 +10 for settler cap and happiness base increase to happiness? :)
