Issue with pip-boy

Yesterday I started having issues with my pip-boy. I would hit tab and all that would come up is the words at the bottom. Nothing else. I was able to fix it by holstering and unholstering my weapon. Now, that little fix doesn't work. The only way I am able to view my pip-boy properly, is after I enter my PA. I have even restored the default ini and it didn't help. So, it's isn't my centered 3rd person settings.

If anyone has an idea, please help. Thank you.

I get this happening tons too. going into 3rd person then back to 1st always fixes it though, but it's still super irritating!

My pip boy does this too...tried the console, nope, tried changing 1st and 3rd person, I could just see me like Rayman, no body but everything else...

So what esp should I turn off to get my player body and my pip boy back? I don't have time to look through all of them...

Having the same difficulty today. Not sure what else to try other than the above.

 

Note: if I'm in Power Armor everything's fine.

Discovery of note: it is definitely related to something in the savegame file... loaded one of my older games, still have a Pip-Boy.
