I never use tgm except when testing a mod and I haven't the wish to fight my way through a dungeon. But that is not in a genuine game so doesn't count. I save all the time as a matter of course so rarely have to go far back to reload if disaster befalls.

I do use tcl when stuck in the graphics occasionally. There are also a couple of areas in game that are apparently not accessible EXCEPT by using tcl - a chest behind a throne in Sancre Tor, the upper level of Bellators Folly with many bandits and a room in Vanua (KOTN) with 2 skeletons and 2 loot chests.

Only time I've used it was when I was experimenting with custom (console-spellmaking) spells. Generally, I have several recent non-quicksaves, so 'about to be killed right after loading' isn't a problem.

I don't use tgm when I'm playing the game (I do when playtesting or staging screenshots for a story). I've used tcl to get out of the geometry before, or to find weapons that fell out of the render when I dropped them.

I haven't yet run into Povuholo's situation. Although I have saved shortly before getting killed, loading the game and running like a bunny generally saved the day when indoors. When outdoors, well, FCOM is well-populated and you can usually run one group of baddies into another.

I did get chased all the way from Vilverin to the IC at level five once. It was one of those ridiculously powerful ghost warriors from (OOO? MMM?). He killed a couple of legionnaires at the gates and then sheathed his sword and wandered off back to Vilverin. Pretty funny to watch.

I have a bad habit of forgetting to save (thank god for auto save). and Im not ashamed to say that from time to time I may use TGM if Im about to die, and my last save was over an hour ago. better to cheat than to have wasted several hours. Also if im play testing during the day time (as a vampire its necessary)

I only tgm when I just want to have a bit of fun killing guards in a town. I tcl, tfc, tai etc. when I'm testing and doing screenshots for mods.
