AtmaDarkwolf
Figure since FO4 is built ontop of skyrims engine/game, that the perks/mechanics for duel wielding is already there, is there any way to re-enable it for melee weapons(And unarmed too maybe?) Jerohan
F*ck the melee weapons, I wanna duel-wield pistols/auto-pistols. I'm honestly surprised they didn't include this mechanic in the vanilla game, especially since people loved it in Skyrim (even if it did need some work). After all, get two pistols with the no-reload effect and mod them to go full-auto... Even a Warhammer 40K Ork would say "Das allota dakka!" BaronofHe11
This isn't a easy thing to do. Dual wield requires new animations to be made. This isn't just for attacks but for stuff like looking at the pip boy or putting the weapons away. Doable for sure but it is a lot of work. AtmaDarkwolf
LOL sure. But with weapons that DO need reload, your reload would take more than twice as long. (If u have the chance, try it with a pair of pistols) But still, nothing beats (as far as laying down fire) a Gatling laser with the endless prefix. It NEVER uses ammo and never needs reload. miky23
Honestly my dream has been to duel wield a flame thrower and any other weapon in powerarmor, it would be really lovely if that was could be.
Malikin
In some cases the need to reload is negated by the fight ending. As for the animations, I am not sure why they could not work it in. To look at the pip boy, both hands are used, well one arm and one hand. The one hand is the default trigger hand anyway. As for the animations involved in holding and fighting, yes I am sure it would take some work. Considering the skill level of this modding community, given time, it will most likely happen. Knowing Bethesda, they will then take it, put it into the next game.. maybe...
lvhoang
I'd love to see that!!!Or dual wield only in power armor maybe?Any of those ideas would be great to implement. No doubt the nodding community will be able to do something with the animations
