Faust870
This makes no sense to me, on my old Morrowind Character, it was a rating of 4 (dont know if thats good or bad)...but now on my new character whom is farther than my old one, has a rating of 0... What exactly does fame mean in morrowind? does it make people like you more? or what? How exactly does it raise? What is a high rating? Does it go up to 100? or just 10? Reborn87
Your fame rating goes up with every quest you do. Your fame rating influences your ability to intimidate someone, and it can go over 100. Mine is currently about 104 or close to it. Just do lots of quests, become leader of each faction etc.

DragoonFurey
You're fame rating goes up the most for doing the main quest and free lance quests. i think you get 40ish fame for completing the main quest, i managed to pick up 5 fame doing freelance in the west gash and bitter coast. Faust870
Ive been doing freelance quests, and i still dont have a fame rating, oh well, ill just go do the main quest i guess :D thanks for the help
DragoonFurey
Oh well thats weird because I've gotten 1 rep for doing the Balmora Bloodbath quest everytime. Ive also gotten a rep for solving the haunting of sadrith mora. I belive but cant confirm that you get rep each time you are named nerevarine or confirmed as hortador. However rep is really insignifigant, the boost to dispositions is very small when compared to the boosts you get out of speechcraft and personality. Marxist ßastard
Well, reputation does play a role in the game's main quest (Read: Backpath).
