hi i have been searching the oblivion saved games on here and is it me or are 99% of the saved game the same i mean almost all are sewer exit characters and only 10% are actually worth while downloading there all the same if you want to add a saved game then i give u thx but plz dont make them at the sewer exit because 1. theres a 50% chance u have completed the main quest before u go looking for new saved games

2. the only worth-while saved games at the start of the sewers are the 1ns that look like a very popular character from a different game like sephiroth, so plz if ur going to upload a saved game plz dont make it 1 at the end of the sewers i want to play a game that i can go around with things ppl have spent ages working on and have really high lvls like lvl 50+ so u can do w/e u want not games that you start from the begining with some character some1 spent 5 mins on making for the soul pleasure of getting horny over something that takes 5 mins to make any1 can make a hot brunette unless u dont own the game or for some reason u are unable to select the options well thx 4 reading and i hope i can see some actual REAL games in it ~!edited here!~ i forgot to mention that i don't mean to be mean but its just that i am frustrated ^^with the amount of typical saved game sewer exits and the fact its late and i havnt gotten any sleep in about 3 days lol im just tiered

Unfortunately, the search doesn't seem to support boolean operators (for instance, -sewer to exclude any file with the word 'sewer'). In fact, it doesn't even seem to be able to search for anything other than exact strings, and the same appears to be true of the forum search engine.

Most saved games start at the sewers because the creators wanted to share the face, not a high level character.

 

If it's a nice face you want you could import the face with Wrye Bash to one of your own (high level) characters.

 

Or if it's a high level character you want, look at the file name. If the file name is 'Hot Khajiit' the savegame is probably created just for the face. If the name is Lv 26 Imperial Knight or A level 30 with A+ Gear you know what you're getting. And if you don't like the face, you can always import a pretty face from a different save with Wrye Bash.

Exactly what Povuholo said. If you haven't figured it out, the vast majority of save games are purely for their facial features. Savegames come in 3 flavors:

 

1. For their artistic creation of a face (usually saved at the end of the sewers because it's polite to not force people through the tutorial dungeon and it's also the last place to change the birthsign, class and anything else you want to tweak. Probably 95% or higher fit into this category.

 

2. For their accomplishments (what you're insterested in) which are at various levels and did not cheat to get them at that level or skill set. These are rare and I've collected a few of them specifically for the purpose of having various-level characters, genders and skills to BETA test mods in development. You can grab BETA Testing Characters here.

 

3. For their stats which were done by an artificial process to level-up or set specific stats on a character (some see this as cheating).
