Is mixing up armors for each gender ok?

Here's one reason for this: the tux and the red dress have different stats. (The red dress actually has the second highest charisma boost in the game.) The first time my burly soldier put on the red dress to pass a persuasion check, it was hilarious, but after awhile the novelty wears off and I wouldn't mind if the "red dress" looked a lot like a suit.

 

Seems like making the tux have CHA equal to the red dress is far FAR easier.

Well, I won't even get into the "why" part -- tastes are subjective, so there is no universal "why" -- with the lack of a CK and working with FO4 edit, I'd say it's probably easier to edit the stats.

I don't think sexuality really needed to be brought into this, and actually hinders the OP from getting their point across. In the past Bethesda created male and female variants for armor and clothing. Fallout 4 aims more towards immersion, and makes a red dress a red dress, no matter who puts it on. Both methods work, however each person has their own personal tastes. I would be interested in a classic version of the armor in which genders receive their own variant, however to be done right, these variants would need to be custom variants instead of simply combining existing armors and clothing.

Update: I ve tried out to crossmix tuxedo-feathered Dress and clean black suit - red Dress as a test and it is work for me perfect. I will upload it as a "test baloon" and wait what happens. If People are interested in it i would do more cross-mixes.

As i know it works know, i had the next cool idea:

Whatever clothing the male sole survivor found, as soon he equip it, it is a Bla©k Tuxedo. Without loosing his original name or stats. Simply just to have always the perfect look. No more wandering around like a jerk, tramp or trash can, but always dressed, as a man should always be dressed. Not only in games!

Personally I was annoyed that pants would magically turn into a dress. It shouldn't work like this.
