Favourite Town

Cheydinhal really does 'feel' like home, with all the game-hours I spent on Cassie. Heading down the Niben Valley or striking out for the Gold Coast feels like a journey, but once I link up with the Blue Road and head east, it's like pulling into my own driveway— if my front yard had two pairs of bandits and a couple of Minotaur Lords waiting for me.

Even began naming features on the road. That really tall, pointy rock on the north shoulder near the westernmost monster spawn point (and a half-mile west of Barren Mine) I have named Ambush Point, because it was from that perch that I waited for Telaendril the very first time I embarked on Purification.

...However, nothing can beat... um... what's its name again? The one with flowers and trees everywhere (Haven't played Oblivion for a year now, sorry).

Chorrol.

My favourite town...hmmm...Skingrad

Hmm, no not Chorrol. It's the one with that crazy wood elf in it, who wants you to murder poeple who's "stalking" him... I think...

GAAAAHH!! WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER!? It's the one with that REALLY expensive house, which you can upgrade at some Nord in a shop nearby, like bying decorations for 2000+.

If its only 2000 septims then your talking about the imperial city. As for the city with flowers, all the towns has flowers!

So 2000 wasn't much? Hmm, maybe it's time I installed it again... Anyway, you could buy decorations for it. You could buy the living-room-decoration/whatever for 2000-4000 or something like that, giving you furniture, flower etc in the living room. Sort of.

The one with the crazy Bosmer and expensive house (20,000 gold, plus about 5000 per decorations) is Skingrad. And I don't remember that many trees and flowers there.

Then Skingrad it is! That's my favourite town!

And I might have used the wrong words. I didn't really meant trees, but those... plants that grow around houses and such.. Ivy or something (note: English is not my native language. Swedish is! ).

But it had flowers, didn't it? ;D

Favourite town? Well not really the town but the I.C. Water district, with a nice little added basement. It's refuge to nearly all my ranger characters, small and near the heart of the map. Plus the market district is my main shopping area.

If I had to gowith a town, it would be Bravil. It has the same atmosphere as the Waterfront and I feel it is very different from all the other towns.

The thing I just noticed about Cheydinhal, with its willow trees and semi-exotic architecture, is a subtle reminder of the French Quarter of New Orleans. That's part of the charm, especially at dusk.

Bravil is damned well ugly by day, but in the dead of night it has that haunted, sneaky feeling that is ever so stimulating to an adventurer.
