Superrpgman
As the topic suggests, I'm looking for suggestions for what else I should install. There are some specific suggestions that I'm looking for, such as a good combination of face and body mods(emphasis on combo, please suggest which to use with which,) Same thing with mods that improve visuals in general.(again, suggest a combo please.) as well as suggestions for clothing and armor types (bonus points for suggestions on what cool looking equipment/clothing to put on specific companions.) but again, I'd be grateful for any suggestions. Anyways, here's what I'm using right now. noone025
I found the best mods were to do with the visuals;- Enhanced Blood Textures- Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction (harder to see but much more vibrant experience)- Seasons Project (over the green ones)- Fog Out (for frames)- Improved Map- Pro Vault Suit as I keep it 111 real- True Storms (makes a rad storm pretty intense)- Rock on (as the terrain often looks dull)- Vivid Fallout (makes many items look much better) I have more, these are the ones I think are of benefit to most / all.I'm fairly new to modding, all these are NMM installed.A few INI tweaks helped me with some other visual aspects. If nothing else, I would def try Fallout 4 Enhanced Color Correction
FlamingMeat
Mine:- Homemaker- Craftable ammo- Better generators- Faster terminal display- All equipment modifiable- Workshop - planters- Various companion mods that I am working on- All tree have leaves Homemaker is a must for freedom of what you want to build in settlements, same as better generators; generators generate bugger all electricity for those bigger visual projects. Craftable ammo is really good if you don't want to waste your time waiting and buying ammo from vendors. Faster terminal display is self explanitory. I like wearing nothing but a gas mask so being able to put heaps of protection on it is a must if I want to play on anything higher than hard. 'All tree have leaves' is really good if you don't want to be overwhelmed with greenery from a touch of green as it only adds a light shade or green/yellow leaves to trees and shrubs while not tampering with grass textures at all. I like it because it still retains the feel of a world coming back from nuclear war after 200 years, while keeping it relatively drab and cold. Definately gonna check out the map, so thanks! Pro vault sounds good too. and yeah, I'll look into color correction. Thanks! :D

I installed that right away. Faster Terminal Delay sounds great. All equipment modifiable sounds super sweet! You're making your own companions eh? All I have to say is, try to find voice actors for them, please.

Athanasa
Links may not work, I grabbed the content off this from a similar thread elsewhere. Stars Texture Overhaul - Higher definition sparkly starsDarker NightsPipBoy Shadows - PipBoy and headlamps can produce shadowsLight Tweaks - Gets rid of some of the 'daylight' areas inside buildingsBetter Armor and Weapon Naming and Sorting - Needed when you start getting variant tiers (light / medium / heavy) of armorYounger Looking Maxson - Because seriously, he's 20 years oldBetter Weapon Mod Descriptions - Gives you actual NUMBERS for what mods doNewDialog - Brings back the old non-console chat UI, and lets you see what your character will say with those lines. No more Mass Effect syndrone.Paladin Danse face clean up - WASH YOUR GODDAMN FACE. Now I just need a mod to clean his armor a bit, too. Looks like he's been mud wrestlingTrue Storms - Wasteland Edition - Better SFX and visualsCeanos Brahmin - Re-textured beige/green brahmin, rather than bright pink.Realistic Weapon Sounds - Delicious, sensible weapon soundsMove (Get Out The Way) - Sprint at NPCs to get them to move out of your wayRadiant Birds - Birdsong, crows cawing and seagullsImproved Map with Visible RoadsA Little Bit of Green - Slight 'livening' of the plants and trees in Fallout. A little bit of green and some leavesQuieter Settlements - Generators and turrets are noisy as hell without thisFaster Terminal Displays - Terminals now display a little fasterImmersive Mouth and Teeth - Realistic mouth and teeth texturesCraftable Ammo - Craft ammo at chemistry stationEyes of Beauty - Nicer eyesLowered Weapons - Run around with your weapons NOT POINTED AT EVERYONEVivid Fallout Rocks - Original Size - Makes rocks look actually ROCKY, but at the original size / resolution levelLore Friendly Ghoul Eyes - Now with pupils, like previous games, rather than black holes of oblivionTime on Loading Screen and PipBoy Time - What? It's 4AM?!WET - Water Enhancement TexturesMore Where That Came From - Adds songs from previous fallout games to Diamond City Radio None of these change anything really gameplay wise, and they're pretty stable. Since I made this list, I've grabbed a whole load more mods. Mostly stuff sorting out item names and more settlement objects, some lighting tweaks. I'll add those into the list tomorrow, of I remember. Edited December 28, 2015 by Athanasa
