Deleted14423759User
Nice thanks. I'm up to the 'Find an ENB' step, as I have all of those mods and utilities installed and working together already. Man those ENBs sound enticing -- like Skyrim can't be played without one anymore. I will give that a go. now all I have to do is wait for the computer to get here. Editing: So would the best thing be to just run the vanilla Skyrim textures with an ENB and not much else? tejano2828
Novice I recommend Project enb. It has multiple settings for low to extremely high machines. Use the appropriate one..here is a youtube video on Projectenb + CLimates of tamriel (highly recommend)

ironbender800
Dude, Install the game.Run it to create the INI's.Drop from gameInstall Mod OrganizerInstall SKSEInstall SKSE memory Tweak for dummiesInstall ENB Boost...Read the Comments Section of ENB BoostFollow the directions from the guy that goes to great lengths to explain how to properly install ENB Boost>Do not push his comments down in ENB Boost comments section or go straight to $$$$ Install Alternate Start....Skip Helen intro Use FPS counterRun round Riverwood what is FPS. TipsCap FPS at 60Don't install shizton of mods outta the gateDon install a bunch of texture mods on this and expect high FPS with Enb Preset >< haha not happening. ____________________________________________ Find an ENB PresetInstall the PresetRun around RiverwoodWhat is FPS?Go kill a bunch of BanditsWhat is FPS in the fight? _____________________________________ Target Frame Rate for active ENB preset should be 60+ Why? Your going to put mods in this thing...The FPS will go down fromScripts being applied actively to NPC'sDraw Calls of objects, freakin more triangles to render in real time,Texture size....Dude I have to say stay away from stuff more than 1K....not worth it....Not worth the loss in smooth high frame rates for when Im running an ENB nope. 2 best reasons to get an ENB preset. 1) ENB does shadows 1,000 times better. 2) More lively colors...cant stand the drab normal game ENB can fix that....For that matter so can Sweet FX but SFX doesn't fix the damn shadows. This ^^^^^ I cant play without ENB. But i recommend performance versions of any you choose. No way you will get over 50 fps with a 960 with most enbs cranked up to full visuals. I have a 970 and many enbs cranked to full effects will bring my fps into the 40's. Thats before adding textures and other taxing mods. But with tweaking you can use an ENB and keep good performance.
