Marcus Wolfe
I created this so that people would be happy.I prefer RTS because it's faster paced, and, although you can get zerged in 5 minutes, you usually won't because you get some variety of built in defence system. ninja_lord666
I prefer either. Turnbased is a little easier while Realtime offers more customization. It all depends on my mood.
Dark0ne
I loved X-COM: UFO Defense (Or Enemy Unknown depending on where you live) but preferred X-COM: Apocalypse simply for its real-time combat, it just made things so much faster and, for me, skilled. I recently played UFO: Extraterrestials which is basically a "modern" clone of UFO Defense which only featured turn-based combat; it was soooo slow and I wasted so much time on the game. I got used to it after a while but really do prefer real-time.
Guest Hotnspicy
I also prefer both, in RTS you can show what a fast thinker you are eg. a Rush for example. In Turnbased Games, you can take time to overthink your moves, thats why i like both. @Dark0ne: Yes i have to agree with you about THAT. However, XCom remembers me a bit more on Metal Gear Solid Ac!d which was totally Hardcore and long due that Turnbased System. But Games such like Wesnoth are actually fast to play.
