NGiesberts
Hi, anyone know a good mod to remove bushes, unremovable scrap, etc at settlements? I've seen a few in the list of settlement mods, but i dont wanna risk losing a save file or something (i'm new to mods :D) cause of a bad mod
Deleted2948850User
It's always a good idea to back-up your saves if you're worried about losing them. I suggest doing that andjust trying a couple of mods to see which one you're comfortable with. Sorry I can't be of any more help, I'veonly used some personal (unpublished) mods/tweaks for this effect.
Jinusean
I personally like scrap everything atm because it offers the most in how much you can scrap. and the mod author is constantly updating it and keeping an eye on it.You have to be careful though, you can end up scrapping something you didn't mean toand have to revert back to an old save. I've used scrap scrap and some other mod I don't remember but I had some issues with crashing while using those. Haven't really had anyissues with scrap everything except accidentally scrapping things I didn't want to.Also be warned about the cell reset issue when using such mods. I love scrap everything! But like he mentioned be very careful, you can accidentally scrap floors, walls, foundations roads etc. I got trigger happy one late night, hitting R & E like I was on a mission, hadn't saved in over 3 hours, then realized I had deleted the roof and foundation of the building with the workshop... I ended up rebuilding it with Alternate Settlements... not sure how it's going to work out. Cait seems to like it. I have not complete the first mission on this run, so I have no idea how the settlers will interact.
WaRi0
I prefer Spring Cleaning as it doesn't allow you to scrap houses/roads/sidewalks that you arent supposed to. Its waaaay too easy to wind up scraping the road when trying to scrap leaf piles with Scrap Everything. Or scrapping the floor of a house when trying to scrap a debri pile in the house. Puddycat
I prefer spring cleaning also. Some things just aren't meant to be scrapped :)
eldiabs
Spring Cleaning appears to be the most stable. Have had no cell reset bugs show up (power armor issue). Sprinting bug is fixed via a FOMOD installer option with the mod. Works very well from my tests. You get a little freeze upon entering a settlement cell, but that's a minor issue when compared to having the ability to make settlements lived in. And no other issues I've run across so far. JuJooGuppy
Spring Cleaning, hands down. Biggest pluses in its favor have already been mentioned, but if its worth saying once...1) NO Cell reset bug - no worries of losing power armors, items, etc constantly.2) Selective scrapping - While there are a few things that still could / should be added, you are generally not able to scrap things that will break a LOD, or create geometry holes, etc. Very well done in that regard.Just my suggestion! MichelleAmanda
Not only in spring, you can call debris removal company in almost every season for immediate debris cleaning.
