Fonger Posted January 1, 2016 Share Posted January 1, 2016 just gave up on this mission type tried : looking at the inventory of every settler - nothing of interest/nothing unusual - removed everything --- nothing synth appeared placed a synth object/part (from a dead synth settler in the event) in each settler's inventory - nothing unusual appeared - item could not be equipped shooting each settler in turn --- mission never finished sending all possible settlers to other settlements ---- killing each of the rest in turn including the cows --- mission never finished getting power armor with the highlight life forms modification --- nothing shows up unusual Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Moraelin Posted January 1, 2016 Share Posted January 1, 2016 Well, the settlement missions are a bit buggy. Best advice I can give is to just get the mod that turns them all off. Saved me a lot of grief, it did. If not, well, you also need to remember one little detail: unemployed settlers can also move to another village AFTER they spawned a quest. E.g., once I had to talk to a settler about a kidnapping at the Red Rocket station, except by the time I got there, he was hanging around the centre of Sanctuary Hills. Deleted2948850User Posted January 2, 2016 Share Posted January 2, 2016 There is a way of detecting a synth settler, I have tested this myself, but a synth should have a higher energy resistance then a human.So having the Awareness perk might be a must have in order to complete these settlement quests, since the infiltrator might be anyone(any settler may become a synth randomly in these quests).
