Vault Girl Mod Development Thread

So I've been getting this weird thing with the inventory menu of the mod where vault girl is always in her underwear. I'm not sure why that is happening. Anyone else having that happen?

 

Also I believe I fixed the Awesome Tails and the lunch box. I'll repost a new link when I reupload the mod.

 

Also the screens are looking nice! :) Glad someone else is getting to use the mod.

Yes she is in underwear - except if you equip Armor parts like leather/metal/combat/synth chest/legs/arms/helmet.

I thought that was normal.

This is totally normal. Armor where you can wear armor parts over (like the Vault 111 Suit) is not shown as armor on her.

 

 

Vault Boy looks the same.

Yeah the underwear is supposed to just be for when you aren't wearing clothes. Hmm. I'll just grab a fresh inventory file from the game files and swap out the icons. She is supposed to wear a vault suit when you wear a vault suit then a shirt and pants when you were other stuff. Then the armor layers on top of that.

Thanks for making those screens, was that without any mods effecting the inventory page? If so it looks like Bethesda must have made a mistake in one of their updates that effected it.

Testing this out so far, everything seem to be normal with my game. One question though, when I pull up the perk menu with T it doesn't show the animations for the vault girl. Is this normal?

 

When I look under specials in my pip girl, (I download the mod to change the name.) the girl animations are there, so I am assuming you haven't added it in yet for the level up menu. (This is an existing game I'm playing if that makes a difference.)

 

Otherwise, great job, can't wait for the final version

Yes, I deinstalled all inventory/interface mods and started a new game for testing Vault Girl.

 

The screen with vault boy is actually an old save from my first character. However I never installed any interface/inventory mods on that char.

 

Vault Girl seems to affect the savegame of the chars you use it on, because eventho I had disabled it, my new char still had Vault Girl on her Pip-Boy.

I tried it with Val's sorting and then went in and clicked on all the rollup menus and had no crashing.

With DEF_UI overriding the Vault Girl files, i assume.

Then yes.. it does work that way.

 

I just installed it to find the cause for the crash - don't use it while testing Vault Girl for obvious reasons.
