Atophy
I've done some searching and couldn't find anything to match my criteria. What I'm looking for is snapping interrior walls. The standard walls won't snap into place if theres anything else on that face like a floor or another building segment. I wanna be able to section off pieces of my building into descreet rooms with a view without compromising on my balcony choices :smile:Most walls can be taken care of by creatively using the prefab parts, but theres usually 1 wall or a balcony end that needs to be covered to make it seamless, an interior wall with a door would be fabulous !I am aware of a mod called 'place in red' but its not actually a mod, its a script for cheat engine and I don't want to go that route. To give an idea of what I'm after. This balcony end. This balcony end as well And this wall would be splendid with a door.
SlashSgt
Not all of what you're asking but here's a mod that does the doorway:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6637/?
Pelcron
Try placing the wall end first and then snapping the other wall afterwards, works some of the time.
Arnaeus
For us lucky pc users there's always the console workaround:Open console, type "prid" to set the focus to null then "tcl" to toggle of clipping. Close Console.Grab one element of the balcony and cancel the movement. That element has now no clipping. Now place the wall. Thanks to the disabled clipping on one element it will snap to the other.Open console again, type "tcl" to reenable clipping. Close console. Done.TCL and MODPOS are extremely useful. Console in Fallout 4 has saved my sanity while building my settlements. EDIT: If you're using MODPOS, MODANGLE or DISABLE (to remove bodies) you should make a save before. Sometimes a click on an object doesn't focus the object but interior fog. Edited January 6, 2016 by Arnaeus
Puddycat
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3615/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D3615%26preview%3D&pUp=1 This is also a good workaround for what you want to doplace the object then move it easily into redIt's basically just an easier way to do modpos
