BeingShotAt Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Here's a number of the mods I hope that get made when the Creation Kit comes out, if you like the list make sure the ideas get spread around! I'll try to avoid listing things that are more or less complete givens, such as for example'New weapon variety!' That sort of thing considering Millennium is around is pretty much guarenteed most likely.So moving on1. I personally I have a desire for some unusual companions, fully voiced, I'd like to see an intelligent, talking deathclaw like from back in F2, and I'd like to see a Sentry Bot companion similar to Codsworth in intelligence, or maybe a Securitron. Finally I'd like to see an intelligent super mutant companion, instead of freaking Strong, so maybe a mutant all the way from the west coast?2. I want to see some high quality Warhammer 40'000 style power armor, done by someone really good at what they do, including some high quality warhammer 40'000 weaponry, not lore friendly at all I know, but I still want it all the same, perhaps someone can make the power armor non-descript and fallout styled3. I want to see at some point, some cybernetics you can implant your character with, just like FNV with Project Nevada and Old World Blues 4. I want to see an ammo system akin to F1-2, FNV, where there are different ammo types and they all have advantages and disadvantages5. It often seems like pistols are at a big disadvantage to other weapons late game, maybe eventually we can get either some re-balance to that and give us some really nice pistols that are powerhouses(like the Ranger Sequoia from FNV) 6. Some mods to potentially make the storyline suck less, it's just my opinion, but I feel a lot of things in FO4 were either nonsensical or just not as good as they could have been. An example would be how the BoS decide the Institute must be destroyed...instead of following their primary directive, so where they clean out the scientists and take the facility over for themselves so they can preserve all that advanced technology.Or perhaps a mod where you can become leader of the BoS and direct it how you see fit, get rid of their racist tendencies for example.That sort of thing ____What sort of things do YOU want to see from modders? Or from yourself if you are a modder, remember to try and keep away from things that are redundant, because more or less guaranteed to happen(or has happened but will be refined once GECK comes out). I know, different developer, but still...it was a cool idea Being able to bet at East City Downs - c'mon, why add this if only to run in and kill everyone? Faction affinity - certain actions etc build affinity with factions like Raiders, Children of Atom, Gunners, etc. Making them potentially non-hostile, assist against enemy factions if in vicinity Would like to see some skills or something re-introduced. A little more RPG like previous FOs, a little less FPS - preferred it when if you didn't invest in guns, unarmed, etc you couldn't aim for crap.
