Deleted2948850User
It should be compatible. Try the offline installer, maybe that'll work.
bben46
I, and many other people using Win7 have not had a problem installing .net framework 4.6. It is compatible with win7 .net is a Windows program downloaded as a part of their updates. It is now REQUIRED for many Windows programs besides NMM. And if you try to use those programs without it they will fail.If you do not have the Win7 SP1 installed that could be why it is saying it is not compatible. SP1 is a major update to Win7 that came out several years ago as part of the standard Windows update. Check in your Windows update for failed updates and get those fixed. Some malware will try to block certain windows updates.
tomomi1922
I recently updated to the newer version of NMM and it is telling me to download a newer version of .NET framework (4.6)The problem is when i install the 4.6 framework, it tells me that my OS is not compatible. BTW i have windows 7Any help would be much thanked.I am using Windows 8.1 I was skeptical of the link NMM gave me, so I googled .NET 4.6 and found the direct Microsoft link. I downloaded from there. .NET installed without a problem. But NMM still complained, so I restart computer, and NMM is happy and starts running. Now I am unhappy that NMM doesn't quite install all my existing mods. Or maybe I should uninstall them all (100+) and reinstall 1 by 1? That would be a lot of work. But this is entirely another topic.
